What does etsy mean? I thought MK was ok but they really need to lay off these self aware camera movements because they are becoming unsustainable. And detracting from the narrative. Needs a fresh approach. The scene where the dog got killed was a piece of shit. etsy.com bro, if you just go to the homepage of that site you'll see all these carefully cultivated displays of quirky items, vintage curiosities, hip retro stuff, etc. i felt like MK was like the movie version of this: everything from the camera work, the dialog, the music, etc. was also so preciously composed and about as vapid as a shop window. basically wes anderson just makes the same exact movie over and over, viz. quirky dysfunctional families have wacky adventures and everything looks like some hip vintage shop. MK was especially bad though imo, by the time they reached the church during the flood it was like the script completely unraveled into this ridiculous hodge-podge of cutsey bullshit. it's also pretty impressive that he can get perfectly good actors to be completely flat and boring. except bill murray who is just one of those guys who seems to always be funny imo jesus I am so glad someone else just saw this absolute piece of shit. I like a lot of Wes Anderson's movies, but this was fucking horrible. Moonrise Kingdom- 2/10 (for Bill Murray and Ed Norton)

lol...its certainly not for everyone....my advice is just play it once over to slowly get a grasp of things...your first playthrough will be pretty crappy..but thats a good thing, you'll start figuring out the mechanics by experiencing them over time. I love Paradox games more than any other developer. ever.

still on Batman Arkham City....stuck at the fucking gang fight when you break into Dr. Strange's parto f the city...jesus christ why the fuck is it so damn hard? is there a strategy Im missing? Im starting to think the way to go is to take out the gunner immediately, then grapple back up, shoot the line launcher, do line launcher dive and slowly pick off everyone by repeating the process...those fucking stun baton guys UGH

I love high alcohol ales, but once you get into 15% or higher territory it starts tasting either like wine, liquor, or a mix of the two. I did have some of the Dogfish Head's Olde School Barleywine Ale, and it was....ok.....but it tasted too fruity/winey for my tastes. I usually stick with 10% as a ceiling, just as a rule of thumb to suit my individual taste.

made a decent way through Arkham City.... just beat up the Joker in the Steel Mill...then checked how many of riddler's trophies I had....150 out of 420 something...... trophy overkill if you ask me. its also really annoying to try and remember all the quickfire combos and special moves. but other than that a great game.

i did get that grapple modification but have absolutely no idea how to use it correctly....the on-screen says to tap x, then tap and hold x....but it only seems to randomly work when I don't really need it. well, played a few more hours and it was fun beating up people and hunting down cameras....but my god are some of the riddler trophy puzzles annoying.

Been slowly finding time to play a bit of Arkham City here and there....and....I cant help but think that Asylum was way better thus far....hopefully it'll pick up a bit.

watched a few episodes with a friend. decent acting, but absolutely disgusting romanticised display of upper-class English cunts, along with the "goofy! cheery!" lower-class peasants working their asses off in a kitchen or beating dusty rugs outside or some shit....oh those silly commoners, when will they ever learn to behave like the nobility! while I somewhat "like" the storylines (and I mean like rather loosely), this drama seems disturbingly close to exploitation. show me some real, authentic class rifts rather than this shit Uncle Tom's Cabin version of the lower-class maids sole concern being to get wet with some slick haired young asshole while fighting amongst each other to suck off the upper class tit. PS. Matthew is a boring, constantly depressed cunt. PPS. Maggie Grace is the only somewhat tolerable character, because she at least seems self-aware of her portrayal of some dried up ignorant fool from last centuries' aristocracy.

i bought arkham city on the cheap, none of my friends were around tonight, and i got a ton of work done, so I started in on it a bit. The controls seem far more awkward than on Asylum. one thing that pisses me off is the camera during the fight sequences; I cant see the guys on my periphery and it drives me nuts...i cant remember if asylum did that too.
