it's actually pretty good, halfway through series 3 at the moment. By no means as "lovingly crafted" and tight as the original. Storywise it sometimes seems a bit rushed and emphasizes quantity over quality but I just love this form of drawn out akwardness, docu style comedy.

I've eaten too much candy. Now I'll have to wait at least 45 minutes until I'll be hungry enough to tantalize my tastebuds once again with a hefty meaty frozen pizza. Just enough time for another episode of x files then. Which I'll probaby have to wait bloody 20secs for while it starts streaming. Gosh. Hrumph.

I wonder whether there are any third world watmm'ers out there. If so, I wonder what they think of this thread. Oh, I was really annoyed the other day that the shop had sold out of my brand of cigarettes, forcing me to stand there pondering his dire selection of tobacco products, my choice landed on Marlboro Lights instead. Gosh! If only shopkeepers would keep their shelves properly stocked we'd encounter less of these utterly terrible situations.

funny. I really enjoy those aspects of the film, together with nice dark shots and the feel of a somewhat dilapitated ship. Only downside for me is the slightly drawn out lights flashing and sirens blaring segment towards the end. Almost flawless film for sure. And even better than the director's cut IMO. Since it's that time of the year I've been watching the Halloween films. The thing is with these films is that they always tend to have a good build up, a semi tense feel of a storm approaching but as soon as everyones aware of the danger afoot it just boild down to a robotic figure in a mask killing people in silly ways. That and Donald Pleasance the token mad Brit who is treated like a nutter by the townsfolk. It's definetely better than Friday 13th, but not as good as Nightmare On Elm Street.

my son my son what have ye done I liked it, it's a great story (based on truth apparently)? However it seemed like it should have been half an hour longer and more aspects of his wonderfully weird personality could have been explored (more straight narrative scenes from Peru would have been nice) I felt the presence of Herzogism but it came across as stilted in this film. Plus the small anecdotes leading to flashback scenes set up got on my nerves.

I just noticed 6852 uses a sound identical to a sound occuring in crystal caverns areas in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Didn't Someone here report there being sounds from Luigi's Mansion in Ts1a? Maybe the guys are having a good remeniscing on classic Nintendo titles. Ha. Anyway, this one has really grown on me, preferring it to Ts1a by a longshot now.
