Every day I download more music despite the fact that I already have 100+ hours of unheard downloads. I don't know when I'm going to get around to hearing it all. To make matters worse, the idea of revisiting the Vsnares discography just occurred to me. Life was so much simpler before torrents became a thing.

Strangely enough, I woke up the next day with 0 symptoms. I was certain I'd caught it this time for sure. Maybe my immune system really has reached god status. My friend who I hang out with practically every other day is fluing stupid hard. FWP I need to get up in 7 hours but I want to watch some TV before bed. That would lead to me not getting a satisfactory amount of sleep.

Oh no, what's up with Mark Gormley? He doesn't sound the same and he doesn't look too healthy. "Little Wings" is still a masterpiece. Looks/sounds like he might be recovering from a stroke? At 2:08 it really sounds like he's saying "each president hurts more up the ass." I'm not sure how that fits in with the overall sentiment of the lyrics, but I swear that's what he's singing.

I used to have a discman and never listened to mp3s, so I bought a lot and never ripped any of it. If you're just copying a file the quality will always remain the same. Is that what you mean?

No HD crash here. I just have a 700+ CD collection and I've only ripped maybe 1/10th of it. There's no way it's ever going to happen. So when I want to hear something from it I usually just head straight to pirate bay. Otherwise I have to find the CD (they're all in boxes), rip it onto my super slow old lap top, transfer it to an external drive, then transfer it to my current lap top. So many steps! So unless it's super rare, I just torrent.

I'm torrenting many of the albums I own because it's faster than going through my CD collection and ripping everything myself. So I'm breaking the law because following it is terribly inefficient.

I wouldn't be surprised if that song in part inspired Radiohead - Spinning Plates. But I think that about almost every Can song I hear. "I bet this inspired Radiohead - ______." And I always manage to convince myself of it.

I failed to get to choir rehearsal. Had a picture in my head of the place I was going, but it was the wrong place. Left my cell at a friend's house so I couldn't check the actual address. Also ruined my friend's coffee maker this morning because I neglected to put any water in it. Had to go out and find a replacement, which cost $76. And last but not least I didn't pass the second and final test for the caption writing "job" I was applying for. (It was an online thing that was probably not going to amount to more than minimum wage, but looked kind of fun and seemed like something i'd be able to do with relative ease.) My brain is a tangled mess of misfiring neurons. Today was a good day.

Save On Foods, which used to close at 10pm, is now open until midnight every day! This is a great success because I only ever think to buy food after 10pm.... tonight being a rare exception. Here I was thinking I might make it in 15 minutes before closing for a change, but instead I've practically got a whole life time to get that loaf of sour dough bread. Fuck yeah. Maybe I'll even get cheese and dijon to go with it. Garlic stuffed olives? Man, i am winning tonight. -

How many albums are you working on right now?! Of my own, just two. SFTBL (new name needed for originals) and The Sky Lit Up. There was a lull in the SFTBL recording so I got bored and started writing/recording more TSLU songs... which has been moving along very rapidly. I don't know when or if that band will do anything more live. But I could see it going on indefinitely as a studio project. I'm thinking of sending what I have so far out to labels, since I think it has a sound that many might be interested in... but it's a real long shot considering we've accomplished absolutely nothing as far as touring and building a fan base goes, and that tends to be what they care about most.

I fucked up the drum arrangement to a song I'm recording. It's all wrong! The section's super proggy, and the drums need to smooth it all out, but they're just weirding it up. Damn it. I can probably rerecord it without the sound changing too much... I hope. Also I'm 8 songs into this album and none of my band mates know I'm recording it yet... lol.

I went to bed at a reasonable hour (midnight) and as a result woke up at 5:40, getting far less sleep than I would have had I went to bed at my usual unreasonable hour (more like 3am). Something positive did come out of that, but this is not the place for it. I feel a little bit sick. It's weird how getting up at ungodly hours does that... that shaky slightly nauseated feeling. The morning has always been my enemy.

Derek Parfit's my friend's dad's cousin. He's about as close to a celeb as any modern day philosopher could possibly be, but I'm still not sure if that qualifies.

I just played a DGAF chord progression on the guitar to see what that might sound like. It's a surprisingly uncommon progression considering how basic those chords are. Not at all what I would have expected from flatulence.
