  1. Love this arrangement. Two features of the production that get my ears all hot and bothered are the crazy guitar blasts that somehow also sound like a trumpet, and the low octave backing vocal on the second verse. It's like listening to stubble.
  2. I think bean means head, so I presume he is skull flexing.
  3. I suspect my mom threw out both my "39 and feelin' fine" and "sexy senior citizen" T-shirts from way back when. I'm a year away from that first shirt being relevant, so it's beginning to eat at me. One day I'll have my revenge. Fuck u mom.
  4. Oh man, format compatibility issues for the Sundance film Festival gotta be off the charts.
  5. There will be more of the saga to come, I can assure you. I think the only problem with that last encoding was the audio format. So I converted the mp4 file to another mp4 using aac instead of whatever-the-fuck, and it seems to be okay. Used an online converter. No syncing issues thank god (has happened any time I've converted one vid file to a different video format online). It was after midnight, so not prime time for IG posting. I'll find out this afternoon if it's actually compatible.
  6. Thanks a lot! That is me on vocals - had a blast working on the harmony arrangement. I'm thrilled you enjoyed it so much. You should def check out Mr. Bungle's California album. It's a masterpiece. Also, this one blew up on the Bungle facebook for a day. It got more listens in that 24 hour period than any of my other tracks have total. I was half expecting them to tear me apart for butchering a classic, but the response ended up being overwhelmingly positive.
  7. submerged in the IG video conversion nightmare again. started by using different software I didn't realize I had... cool video effect options bro, but is there seriously only one option for the video format??? How is that your program design????? WTF!!!! *kills everything*
  8. I for one am happy it's finally socially acceptable to obscure my face in public. I'd wear the mask even without a pandemic, especially in this weather.
  9. Beginning of the year releases have a longer shelf life, since the year stays fresh longer. If you release something on Dec 31st 2020, by Jan 2021 it already gives the impression of being a year old. Your FWP is an FWS in disguise.
  10. Experienced a brief period of congestion while with the family today, which has since totally cleared up. I understand that's not a symptom of the 'vid, but still - god damn it. I used to take no precautions and never get colds. Now I'm taking extra precautions and getting sick on the regular.
  11. Aha. I've oft fantasized about doing some extreme metal thing where all the drums are programmed so that I'd never have to find the drummer who could pull it off. Started two songs even, but never finished them.
  12. WTF how is he keeping that blast beat up? Are the drums programmed? That's insane.
  13. My last cat used to do that (still alive, but ex has custody). I miss all his weird shitting problems. FWP: Had the dumbest delivery experience tonight, but there are too many small annoying details to explain in writing. It's like I want to bitch about it, but I'm too lazy to put in the effort. FWP2: keep falling asleep super early, like 10pm-ish, then wake up around midnight and can't get back to sleep for hours. Dealing with that atm. Trying to wake up for xmas stuff with the fam is going to suck.
  14. Holy rock gods hahahaha! What a difference between what was acceptable in '90 vs '91.
  15. Well you know that old saying... "gotta make things gay before you can set 'em straight."
  16. 1991 was when I actually became interested in music, so the above were all what my parents/relatives thought I would want to hear. Interesting that I received so many cassettes as presents, considering I wasn't yet into music. By the time Nevermind came out it was all I cared about (that, G 'n' R, Metallica, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Anthrax, Megadeth, Alice 'n' Chains... I was 10 at the time. Still love all of it.)
