Free Comic Book Day 2017 is tomorrow! Goiing out to hit up a few shops for freebies and look for deals on things I wanna read... Started up East of West recently, finished vol. 3, need to pick up 4 and maybe 5 tomorrow. Also been making my way through the Spawn origins collections. Also been keeping current with Ed Brubaker's Kill or Be Killed. Wife also said she'd give me an additional budget she'd spend on comics for me as a belated b-day present.. We'll see what I end up grabbing.

The point is Horizon actually is a great game, ME:A isn't... Horizon is very worth playing, Mass Effect I kinda feel like I'm obligated to finish but I'm not as into.

Beat Horizon: Zero Dawn last night, fucking great game... God story, great combat. Easily my GOTY so far... I need to jump back to Mass Effect: Andromeda, but I have a feeling it's gonna feel like a step down after Horizon.

All my background and pre-screenings cleared, so I officially have a new job/internship. I start on the 15th! Graphic Designing for the city of Minneapolis. I gotta be in at 7:30 am though everyday, got about a week and a half or so to get my sleep schedule adjusted...

I'm about ready to kill my wife's fucking cat... Fucking thing pissed on my jacket this morning, and I swear I smell some on the goddamn loveseat. And just about 15 minutes ago she hacks up a huge hairball right on the floor of the living room.

finished my run-through of dark souls... now to finish up Horizon: Zero Dawn and Mass Effect.

Elder's been working on a third album for a while now, it'll probably drop sometime this Summer. I need to catch them on tour.

Good luck finding one, I still never saw those damn NES consoles anywhere... now they're being discontinued and will be racked up to like $300 on amazon or ebay

Taking a break from Mass Effect: Andromeda and jumped back into Dark Souls 3 to try the Ringed City DLC... Decided to do a new playthrough before going into the DLC, ended up being my strongest build yet too... Reached the DLC and I just cleared the Dreg Heap and beat the first of the boss fights, that was a fun fight (if not a tad bit easy though), did it on my 2nd try with some help from the NPC summons. Getting to the boss fight itself was a tricky bitch though... Curious to see where the second part of the DLC heads, now that I've reached the Ring City proper.

I need to complete an internship as a final requirement for my degree, the internship period of this semester technically starts on Monday, but I haven't landed one yet. I know I'm not the only one in my class that hasn't lined one up yet (at least I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one ), but it's still kinda stressing. Both places I've had an interview for at this point have passed on me. A few of my classmates have already accepted full-time positions... However, I've been trying to remind myself that even last year not all the seniors had their internships completed in the semester-window and still graduated, and the few of my classmates that have accepted positions came into the program with some previous experience, which I didn't have. I also have about 8 pending applications, some of which are also for full-time positions... I think I'm just extra anxious because this is my second degree focus I've had and I REALLY want to end up doing what I went to school for this time, unlike last time.

Posing with the "Angel of Death" at the Guillermo Del Toro exhibit at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts... This whole exhibit was fucking awesome, it also included a lot of Del Toros own collection of dark and creepy art beyond his own works.

Tomorrow is my last day of college classes... I still have to complete and internship before graduation, but classes and classwork, and homework will be a thing of the past. Feels kinda weird... I'm ready to be done, but also anxious about the internship and eventually going out to the real word for jobs.
