God damn, the full setlist for Psycho Las Vegas is out and damn that's a boner inducing list... I'm way too broke/far away to make it out to this. But it seems every year the lineup has been damn solid, especially this year. I need to get out there one day...

Started up Horizon: Zero Dawn tonight... This game is beautiful! I'm not too far in, but so far the combat is pretty damn satisfying and the story is definitely intriguing. Definitely looking forward to diving deeper in.

so good Also... New Over Kill is a pretty fun listen for a bunch of guys old enough to be my dad... and... Lizzard Wizzard is just pure over the top doom that doesn't take itself that seriously (no relation to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, who are also awesome)... ou gotta love a title like "MEDUSA BUT SHE GETS YOU STONED INSTEAD OF TURNING YOU TO STONE AND INSTEAD OF SNAKES SHE HAS VAPORIZERS ON HER HEAD...DRUGS"

They've really declined in quality from the Homework/Discovery days... This album was just terrible, "Get Lucky" is horribly fucking obnoxious.

I've been replaying it lately, since the trailer got me hyped, it's a fantastic game, and I'd recommend actually playing it sometime. 2 is gonna be friggin awesome, Ellie is gonna kick some Firefly ass! Definitely gonna have to give RE7 a try as well, idk if I'll get to do it in VR the first time, as it's probably gonna be quite a while til I pick up the VR... I do eventually want to get VR though as I'm also dying to play that Batman experience one.

Is RE7 standalone enough that I could jump in without having played 5-6, and not clearly remembering 4?... TBH I never was big into the RE lore, but this game looks like a proper horror game and I'm curious to give it a try.

Got a lot of metal listening in at work today, it was painfully slow... Here's some new ones I listened to: Ekpyrosis - Asphyxiating Devotion ... Full length debut from this Italian death metal group... pretty good shit! Soothsayer - At This Great Depth... Atmospheric Doom/Death from Ireland, Alluvial - The Deep Longing For Annihilation ... Wes Hauch (Black Crown Initiate/ex-The Faceless) and some other dude have a new atmospheric death metal band, but no vocalist, it's all instrumental but it's pretty damn good. Apparently they are seeking a vocalist and are actively taking auditions. Black Prism - S/T ... Psychedlic doom, tons of Sabbath Worship, it is Riding Easy records afterall...

Beat Titanfall 2 on Master over the weekend... that fucking battle against Viper was a real bitch, still loving the multiplayer. Fucking great game. Also beat Ratchet & Clank over the weekend, fun game and the added nostalgia was nice. Really looking forward to Horizon: Zero Dawn next month.
