Was going to post this a few weeks back, it dropped today on Kranky. Grouper does R&B vibes.

I've been looking forward to this album after a mate sent me a few bits. Bones Become the Trees is a wicked track.

Been looking forward to this one for a while and its a real peach. An interesting intersection of different styles that really works.

The comparison is apt, it kinda sounds a bit like an Erykah Badu record run through delay/reverb pedals and low pass filters. I also imagine it would be enjoyed by fans of Alice Coltrane.
