i was immediately in favour of rushup i bank 12 because i had been waiting for about a year for it to be released, making do with my dodgy live bootleg mp3 in the meantime.

 

upon hearing the album for the first time, shiz ko e was my immediate favourite due to it's prince-like levels of synthfunkiness

 

death fuck then made itself clear as one of the most unsettlingly futuristic pieces of music ever to be realised

 

synthacon 9 (it goes without saying is among the greatest things ever made)

 

goodbye rute is pure lush BUT

 

BUT!!!

 

 

last rushup 10 is one of the most amazing inventions in the history of music / mankind / the universe

I went with synthacon because:

 

1. it's the best first 45 seconds of a track EVER

2. the vocoder bit owns all

3. the synth/pads are straight gangsta

4. all that funk keeps my ass shaking

 

though last rushup 10, 12 and death fuck are also such goddamn beauts it's hard to really pick a fav.

 

seriously though, RDJ spews brilliance all over us once again.

Synthacon 9 is the most innovative for electronic music.

Last Rushup 10 is the most epic.

Shiz Ko E is the grooviest.

Rushup I Bank 12 is the least innovative (I don't like it that much. I mean it's good, but it's no revolution).

Death Fuck is the craziest.

And Goodbye Rute is the most simple.

totally agree. It just sounds so retro and awesome, like something from a 70's cop show. It is super good. More love for Shiz Ko E please!

Last Rushup 10!!! :braindance: never get tired of it.

 

the melody at 4'47 (to 5'12) is just the perfect climax for such epic track.

the beat that goes along reminds me of Fenix Funk 5 at 3'54 to 4'30.

Rushup I Bank 12 is pretty fucking boring.

Not that it is boring.. but it wears off kinda fast. I remember REALLY loving it at first.

 

Anyone else dislike the beat at the beginning of Death Fuck? I'll probably get flamed (normal for chavs tho) BUT I think it's a bit cheesy. (a BIT)
