Some of the other albums are otherworldly but the tone in all other albums tends to lend the mind to imagining a landscape. For some reason though, Chiastic slide takes place in space. Final answer. Hub is definitely the sound of drifting in Autechre-orbit. They must have sent some trans-dimensional recording device there because machines can't make that sound. Redruth Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 clearly troon hasn't heard the end of we r are why i love those two tracks. it's hard to rate Autechre on a scale (like it was just stated in this thread) such phenomenally untouchable works (that is... by anyone outside the family), -the subtle detail-the depth- can not be generalized about in that way... except to a point...and of course, Autechre is a circle, ...like i said in 'The Shape Of Autechre'. so...i did my best, but i don't think they have ever made a track i could say i did not like.
