Guest fiznuthian Posted March 19, 2009 Share Posted March 19, 2009 wow, incredible photos. i told so many people many years ago this was going to happen. does anyone here have an informed idea of just how bad this is going to get? my parents work (or worked rather, mum found another job outside of industry) for GM and it is absolutely true that the automakers destroyed themselves and their employees. their production plant has been cutting last minute corners by firing employees at random for the past 5-7 years, as well as lowering their pay every so often - all while increasing labor demands. from what i hear, this is true of nearly every company owned by GM. the end result? thousands upon thousands of gas guzzling hunks of metal wasting away at dealerships all over the country. from what people have told me, there's not a single fast food restaurant in my town hiring anyone. what the fuck.
