does anyone know when this remix was made? being released in 2003, but the track shares certain qualities with the garbage ep kind of stuff+original spangle was 1994.

second question, if it was made around 1995, why did it take almost 10 years to be releasd?

Autechre made the remix in 1994 around the time when Spangle was actually released... They gave the DAT to Mark Clifford and there were talks of releasing it shortly afterward on another Seefeel EP; however, that didn't pan out and the DAT sat around Mark's place for nearly a decade before he rediscovered it and decided to (with Ae's permission of course) release it on his own Polyfusia label in 2003.
