It has this remarkable road nicknamed 'Chippy Lane' which is filled with kebab shops and chippies, come throwing out time at the clubs it is always packed with people puking and pissing. Fun times. From Orbital, I learned that Dwr Bdr means something like "bad/dirty water." Then, in that sign in one picture, it says "Arosfan y Bws Dwr" for "Water Bus Stop." Do they go subject-->adjective like most Latin languages? I only ask because "water" appears to be at the very end of the Cymru translation. i guess it's just more flexible than English. no idea how Welsh grammar works. maybe Dwr means both "water" and "of water" (as in "bus of water" for "water bus", which is how French typically works), multiple case forms looking the same or some bullshit. people slag it off but i'd love to at least learn about the language. most of the place names where i used to live were in Welsh despite being (just) in England. always funny seeing tourists trying to pronounce them haw haw haw Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
