Picked by the UK Times last Saturday. Interesting stuff, think Hidden and Grizzly Man were oustanding, turned off Team America after ten minutes of torture, and can't even remember Casino Royale. Surprised Let The Right One In was so high on the list, though enjoyed it. Think I would have stuck Donnie Darko at no. 1, then maybe the Lives of Others. The Station Agent doesn't make it at all, and can't see Oldboy either.

The bold ones I agree on. But where is Fellowship of the Ring? It was A LOT better than Return of the King. And where's Oldboy? I see Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, but...wha... huh?!

Slumdog Millionaire in the top ten? It was good but I still don't understand the critical acclaim, it's like people were stoked to see an Indian film that wasn't a Bollywood musical.

 

Interesting to see Bowling for Columbine up there and not Farhenheit 9/11. And Battle Royale, lol.

By the time I got halfway through reading that list I forgot the thread title said "of the last decade", so I started wondering why there weren't any classic movies listed.

 

Twenty-year span would be harder, but more interesting.

 

List needed Sunshine.
