"we need a black actor who apparently has clout with white people" "GET ME TERRENCE HOWARD DAMMIT!" cheadle is far superior even though terrence howard wasn't very good in the first one, i find it ridiculously hard to take an actor switch out on the 2nd installment seriously. Maggie gylenhall in the 2nd batman film was a total wtf for me that i could not get over. yeah, it's a little annoying but the idea to swap holmes for gylenhall was much appreciated even tho continuity was fucked.
