POSTHUMAN

UK techno duo Posthuman play a rare full live set. With recent vinyl releases on B12, Handsette, and Uncharted Audio picking up plaudits & plays from Laurent Garnier, Tayo, Chris Coco, Stanton Warriors, Rob Da Bank, Dave Clarke, DJ 3000, and many more, the pair play a set of bass-driven techno & raved up electro from their upcoming album Syn Emergence.

CURSOR MINER

An I Love Acid favourite, wonky-bass-filth specialist Cursor Miner returns to Ginglik promoting his latest 12” “Shakin’ Heathens / Mad Cow’. Expect a full-energy show of the wazziest bass, most spankingest snares, and agricultural funk. Yes, that’s right: Agricultural. You know you want to.

Here’s Mr. Miner in action at his last appearance at I Love Acid, back in November 2008:

SYNTHEME

Planet-Mu’s queen of Acid, Syntheme effortlessly fuses rave, minimal techno, acid and electro, while keeping the dancefloor jumping thoughout.

See her in action here:

DEBASSER

UK Bass don Debasser first burst onto the scene with the anthem ‘Fat Girls’ which was released by the late Disco D’s detroit ghetto-tech label, GTI Records, before being picked up on by Richie Hawtin and re-released on Novamute. Since then, Debasser has cemented his place as one of the leading lights of the UK Bass sound, fusing breaks, garage and electro with the US Booty sound, also establishing his own label WIDE, and picking up fans from Andy Weatherall and Radioactiveman to Deekline and Luke Slater.

Check his remix of DJ Slugo here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkDegi2RaWo|

HANAL

DJ support on the night if from DJ & Graffiti artist Hanal, known equally for his excellent mixes of underground electronic music, hip-hop and techno, as well as his graffiti work (he did the artwork from Autechre's debut release "Cavity Job" as well as the recent Remerge Records releases)

jph - Do you know if there were any photos taken at this by the usual Ginglik photographer

p.s. Someone said 'Hi' to me on the night and they may have been from here - If so I apologise as I totally didn't engage you in a conversation and kind of just walked off. Stoopid booze !
