HALO Reach

to be honest, i'm kind of burned out on Halo after 3, but once again the reviews say this is the end all, be all of Halo games; higher rez graphics, better colors & lighting, more classes & customization. the campaign clocks in at around 8 hours, but add in co-op and what will surely be the most populated multiplayer game of the year (until Call of Duty Black Ops) and i might jump on this if we can get anywhere near the watmm support we had when Halo 3 dropped.

WAAAAAAAAAAY better than 3. this perfected Halo IMO. i brought my friend to the midnight release, went home to do co-op campaign. did it on legendary, took us until 11 AM to finish. completely worth it

my 360 is broke. i'm seriously contemplating just buying the halo reach bundle for 400 bucks. it's killing me that i'm not playing this and breaking controllers right now.

Just make sure you don't get the 360 slim without a hard drive - HALO Reach won't work in co-op multiplayer on those systems without a HDD.

yeah i think it's bundled with a 250 gig hard drive.

i like the faggoty dedicated halo controllers that i'm going to break.

That's perfect, 'cause they have a limited edition special controller coming out November 9th you can replace them with!

i played the beta and as someone who played a fair amount of halo 3, it felt like there wasnt enough change to keep me interested.. and the stuff that did change was mostly for the worst. the armor abilities thing seems like they got some ideas from MW2 but decided to only take it like a quarter of the way there... having to choose between sprint and jetpack? really? i also didnt like the weapons... and the run speed is like twice as slow as halo 3s which was too slow to begin with..

so yea i am gona be recommending black ops over this easily.

Halo 3 MP is better with the extra DLC maps (The initial set wasn't as good as Halo 2 imo). If you get ODST you get all the maps included (but different campaign.)

The campaigns for 2 and 3 really blend together in my head, but I'm pretty sure 2 had a better one. I didn't appreciate all of the weapon changes from 2 to 3.

I'll prob get Reach pretty soon though.

So glad I sold a few games for this. Been playing Reach like crazy with a few friends but I definitely want more peeps to play it with... mostly because of Reach's forge... I am going to be spending quite a bit of time modding maps and starting ones from the ground up to play custom games with. Lots of possibilities with forge :spiteful:

Haven't touched campaign yet as the team slayers, team objective and double team arena are too addictive. Did play a few firefights though, definitely really glad they added that. Firefight on heroic + unlimited rockets + 300% jump + jetpacks = fun

I got it, played a little, reminds me of Halo Combat Evolved. Liking it more than 2 and 3

Sometimes, it seems the only feeling generated by your brain is awe. No matter what comes out.
