Flammable drinking water

I've had to read multiple books on global issues now, one called "Water Under Threat" by Larbi Bouguerra. I watched the documentary "Flow" too.

It's super depressing reading about everything wrong that is wrong.

Australia has great tap water, particularly in Tasmania. When I was there I was pleased at how clean and pure it tasted.

When I lived in Vancouver I was suitably impressed by the tap water, which was comparable.

Places like these will be fortresses in the upcoming water wars.

We're fracking in australia. But by and large our cities use rainwater in dams. Not bore water. Something frightening though is the chemical cocktail that they use during the fracking process, it can travel through into the artesian basin. Poisoning our western bore water for thousands of years to come.

And then there's how fracking damages the water table, and cause the land to subside. -sie- Quick buccaneers fuck us again.

IDK if any of you have seen this documentary about hydro-fracking:

I had to watch it for my Environmental Geology class. It's a sad story
