Eerie sounds occurring around/during earthquakes

it has been noted elsewhere on the intertubes that, in kiev amongst other places recently, there are recordings of strange ambient (meaning of no specific ascertainable source) noises which occurred immediately prior to or subsequent to some recent earthquakes around the globe.

 

here's a youtube clip of the event in kiev. i'm wondering if there are high fidelity recordings of these occurrences anywhere ,hopefully!?
