There will be a new ep of some less chaotic downtempo i made on a fourtrack coming out on tb6 and a full-length of steve roachy stuff i made on a fourtrack coming out on the new tb6 sublabel Nibbana before the year is out.

Cool, Sounds like you have been busy! I look forward to hearing it all.

Almost all TX802

the drums on the tracks with drum sounds are tr626.

There's one track that is all fs1r, though, and two or three that also have a tg33 in them forfor piano or strings. I used the ekhdahl.moisturizer and ensoniq dp/4 for filter/verb/fx

This album comes with a book that is kind of important to me as a physical object, but after we sell a few more i'll probably make a bandcamp page i guess.

There's a booklet with a story that is encoded, but the code is instantly obvious and requires little effort to break. You'll laugh that i even called it a "code" when you see it. But then you might cry if you read the story.

Cool didn't realise this had a booklet story thingy as well, when you mentioned it on twitter thought you were referring to the Presumed Dead story for some reason... sorry am a bit slow, Hopefully I will still be able to crack the code though! sounds interesting either way though am more interested in hearing the lovely musics! :)

You'll definitely be able to decode it, it takes very minimal effort. Because it is a sensitive subject matter though i didn't think it should be possible for anyone to read it by accident.

Unlike Presumed Dead i.wrote this story myself, but it is not entirely original. it is my own version of a story by an anonymous author that i got off a BBS when i was 12 or 13 and had a big effect on me.

i had a slight chuckle, caused by how i enjoyed what you wrote in the above statement - in case you thought i was being impertinent

nice, didn't spot the FS1R. Did you load any old patches onto it? I heard (but havent trieD) that it is literally backwards compatible with patch files from all previous yamaha FM synths including DX,SY and TX. Haven't tried out the TX yet but my friends in nommo ogo have one that sounds pretty great. All hail hardware fm synthesis!

Have only loaded a few dx7 patches in there. All the ones i have backed up are in full banks for my 802, like syx files of 32 patches, which the fs1r acts confused by. But the few single patch syx files i have go in fine and sound really good. A lot of the presets are based on dx7 presets but loading in the real thing sounds bigger and sharper somehow, like they fine tuned and smoothed out some good fm qualities when they loaded up the fs1r presets, imo. I just need to find a cache of individual-patch dx7 sysex files somewhere#!

well the book is rather porno! ;) not sure how i felt about the thinly veiled pedo theme, but still was kinda interesting. The code was dead easy to crack, but it did make it a bit of a pain to read!

Anyhow the music is awesome. Been listening to this a lot the last few days and its full of proper snyth-tastic jam's, could imagine a lof of them just countinuing on for hours without getting boring. Top stuff indeed!
