I'm a sucker for Skam releases, so I'll definitely be getting this one. I like that they have a slow trickle of very high quality releases. Hopefully they get around to releasing Bola's new album one of these days; he's been stringing us along for too long.

Heh, I just need to make some tracks I'm happy with first.

Having your brother and friend release quality stuff kind of heaps on the expectations, and doesn't make it any easier - especially when technically out of the three of us, I have the least free time and least technical knowledge. I did however pick up some rather nice HS 80M monitor speakers last month, so you never know...

Anyway this is a thread about Chrome Position and how good it is, right?

It was on soundcloud. It was a super chill vaguely sinister boards of canada ish track, like something off of IABPOITC. Really nice.

This passed me by until today, just saw it in the Blerp mailer and after a quick listen I'm sold, sounds great.

they're not available at all direct from Skam, according to their shop. Royal Mail had better not have lost mine.

this will probably be my favorite release this year, its a great listen, its short but powerful.

To be honest I feel a little underwhelmed by this. I'll not give up on it just yet though. And osc, it may or may not be some consolation but I had a dispatch email for the Canonbury cassette about a month ago. Just about given it up for dead when it arrived yesterday.

 

By the way, these cardboard cases are a pain in the arse to open.
