Philosophy declared itself as an irrelevant form for text analysis last century. Let me give a very condensed timeline: 1. "ugh!" (fast forward) 2. "Thor/Odin/Mars/Hercule/whatever owns" (fast forward) 3. "God is mighty! There is good and evil. Humans are evil, especially women." (fast forward) 4. "You are all mad! Stop that religious nonesense, gawddammit! I THINK THEREFOR I AM! I do not need to know more and i cannot know more." (fast forward) 5. "Doooodes you are all wrong. We cannot even start to discuss these topics, because language is not capable of discussing such things. So can we please just assume that there is no meaning to anything at all and leave each other alone?! And also, there is no truth, just narratives. kthxbye!" Then philosophy died.
