Now That Trump's President... (not any more!)

duh.

He bought a public golf course in CA for 27 million.

It was a distress sale because it went BK without opening due to a natural disaster removing the 18th hole.

He allegedly renovates the place for 264 million. However the course stayed the same as was designed. He just fixed one hole.

He declares the value at $10 million for tax purposes.

So in his mind it is worth 17 million less than he paid for it in a distressed sale and after he put 260 million into renovations.

Never-Before-Seen Trump Tax Documents Show Major Inconsistencies

The president’s businesses made themselves appear more profitable to lenders and less profitable to tax officials. One expert calls the differing numbers “versions of fraud.”

 "Gutsy Women"

I wish she would retreat from the public world entirely, she's almost worse than Madeleine Albright. She sets a bad example for women and gives guts a bad name. SAD!

Yeah christ, she needs to GTFO the room already.

Also that tweet (y?) ripped straight from Kimmel

Also Tutsi Gabber can hula her veep-looking ass out the room too.  They may be of a different feather but they're both sociopaths bringing fuck all to the table.

oh man, this one is fucking hilarious:

President Donald Trump took to Twitter Sunday to once again defend his decision to pull U.S.
troops out of northeastern Syria. But in the process, he may have revealed that his Defense secretary hasn’t made much of an impression on him since he was named to the post in June. In the tweet, Trump quoted “Mark Esperanto, Secretary of Defense, ‘The ceasefire is holding up very nicely. There are some minor skirmishes that have ended quickly. New areas being resettled with the Kurds’.” The name of the Defense secretary is Mark Esper. “USA soldiers are not in combat or ceasefire zones. We have secured the Oil. Bringing soldiers home!” Trump added. Around two hours later, that tweet had been deleted and the president posted another one with the correct spelling of Esper’s name.

Lol@ Romney secretly following Seth Abramson with a fake account.

and bonus Lol for Mulvaney saying at Fox Trump considers himself still being in the hospitality business (context: originally wanted to organize the G7 at some Trump resort). To which Wallace responded "He's the president of the United States".

House of Cards is so boring compared to the reality...

McConnell is firing blows Trump's way.  it sounds like yesterday was another damning hearing - ambassador taylor testfied that ambassador sondlund lied to congress and that the ukraine arrangement was certainly a quid pro quo.

and this was after yavonvich's testimony, which apparently moved congressmen to tears.

one thing i can tell you about the closed door hearings is that they shield the republicans in there from public view so they are free to participate. reportedly they have been participating. there's also not a time limit, when the hearings are closed. members are able to ask questions until their questions are exhausted.

it's going to be a very interesting vote in the senate this winter. hopefully it won't even get that far. would be nice if the gop senate just reached consensus that they would pass articles, and the white house will get word, and maybe dumper will resign and take a long vacation in turkey.

The correctness of his sentiments notwithstanding, being from Rhode Island I'm obligated to state that David Cicilline is a piece of shit.  Some say we're a hotbed of Democrat corruption, cronyism, and ineptitude (order varies day to day) up there with Chicago and NY State.

Now this is what dems & r's should have done a long time ago...just get in a big ol' kicking punching screaming all-out brawl. Let Nancy & turtle man duke it out mano y mano. Words are obviously getting them nowhere, so it's time to use fists.

House Republicans stormed the hearing room where Pentagon official was testifying

As Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Laura Cooper was sitting down to testify, the roughly couple dozen Republicans stormed through the three different doors, a source in the room said.

Rep. Bradley Byrne yelled in committee Chair Adam Schiff's face, but Schiff didn't engage. Other Democrats, including Val Demings, screamed back at both Byrne and Rep. Louie Gohmert, who were yelling about the process.

"It was closest thing I've seen around here to mass civil unrest as a member of Congress," according to a source in the room.

Cooper left the room while the Republicans refused to leave.

The source says the Capitol Police and sergeant at arms have been consulted as members refuse to leave the room.

This is the implosion of what was the Republican party.  They have no platform anymore except banning abortion and protecting gun rights.  They'll fracture into even more extreme factions, and will fade from social relevance eventually.  There is a sea change happening in American society.  Some see it, some don't.
