This is the nastiest, sludgiest track I've ever made. I did it while I was visiting Ireland last October. Watch your volume or it'll rape your ears. This is a new piano composition I just made, more of a personal piece I guess. Since I'm not a piano player, recording it was a bit frustrating, but I'm quite pleased with the end result. Hardly any progamming at all on this one other than a few necessary edits and the obvious texturey bits. I recorded another piano piece earlier this week as well. Might post that later. They're my first two piano pieces that I've recorded. I've noodled around a bit on the piano before, but most of what I've written in the pas…

Hi guys ;) Here is the link to a nearly finished track of mine: silencide - digital mystic the strange thing for me is the weight of the nearly in the topic title. sequence is OK for me, but there's still too much treble I think. Please give me your opinion on sound, sequence, mix... silencide

This is something I've had in the works for a while, some droney ambience. 01. Colu (9:16) 02. Lii (29:27) download from grundruck "Like the drone and throb of industry; like robotic mothers, sending children to sleep with slow industrial lullabies. Time stretched and hung up through points in aural space, spanned far apart, teased out into threads, and then compressed to a singularity, a wall of shimmer and chorus. Thirds creates ambient soundscapes via two meandering, expansive, pieces that sound like the echoes of dead refineries, empty but inhabited with all the frequencies left hanging. This is haunting, depth-charged music, a unique wall …

hello, i've just made this tune tonight, sampling vinyls with pitch manipulation and playing guitar. i intended to encode it @ 20kbps but I post the 192kbps mp3 as well for those who'd die listening to such hardcore dirty compression. 20kbps: http://headphones.free.fr/mp3s/yan_g-WIP-l...tune-20kpbs.mp3 192kbps: http://headphones.free.fr/mp3s/yan_g-WIP-lost_tune.mp3 i think i'll change the guitar theme melody a bit, and i have to record a beautiful improv in place of that crappy one. anyway, tell me what you think, this track's nothing like anything i've done before. makes me wanna get a real saxophone.

lucid rhythms - "celestia one" live jam
by Guest margaret thatcher- 13 replies

for the last few weeks, i've been a busy boy. i'm now in a band. i can't decide whether we're awesome or shit yet. the band isn't called "lucid rhythms" cos that's my solo stuff name, but this song is a severe variation on one of my solo pieces. anyway, there's a drummer who's more used to jazz music, there's a guitarist, there's a vocalist (who wasn't here for the jam this time) and there's me on about 50 synths and a computer and several thousand delay thingys. this is the first time i've tried to do anything like this, but we came up with some stuff which sounded passable. anyway, it sounds a bit iffy cos it was recorded using a room, a drum kit, a guitar, a c…

http://adamsigmund.googlepages.com/Origami...ika-CarWash.mp3 For this track I used some chippy synth for the leads and recorded in some harmonia and a tad of guitar. While I realize that the amen break is too cliche by many people, I'm still learning how to use it so any critism, tips or comments would be appreciated :)

for anyone who's interested... - This was an edit of a track from Lagrange Point I wrote this on my dads old piano back in the summer of 2003, then re-did it digitally. I don't play piano so I was quite proud of it (although I admit it is a very simplistic track) http://www.zshare.net/audio/71377888a159df/ - This track first came out as part of the Seed 5x5 series, and was recently remixed by Digitonal for the first of the Uncharted Audio SIGNALS 7" series - the "ambient mix" was never released. Bit of 8-bit housey vibes, some vocoder silliness (because I really can't sing very well) http://www.zshare.net/download/713736899af369 (if yo…
