This popped up on my recommendations the other day^ Really nice selection overall, Bernard Herrmann pricked my ears as an interesting choice. Gotta check those OST's! Floating Points did one recently too which you may like. He comes across as very informative and immersed in the stuff he listens too: I want that Persuasive Jazz LP!

Finished Dark Matter yesterday, I can't say I've read a thriller as enthralling as this. One minor criticism or irk for me was that it wasn't fleshed out as maybe it could have been. I understand the reasoning that goes with that, it's just some of the prose was to be assumed that X action made Y outcome and so forth. Not a massive chink in it's armour at all though as the story was really captivating and exhilarating throughout. Short and action packed with enough of a story to engage and think about. Starting Norwegian Wood, my first delve into Murakami!

The Thick of It. Nearly finished all four series, gold everywhere. I really love Glenn as a character. The washed up, older, depressed, tired politician that is trying to stay relevant in modern day politics. Yet he's still such a funny guy.

This is so, so, so good. Not sure what album I liked more of his previous two but this newnew is hhhhsrul. IV is really gripping me right now. Gonna blare this in my car tomorrow morning on the top of Ally Pally.

Wow, I really love this. The first track Hourglass has a similar melody to Whisper Fate from Severant and I absolutely love the shit out of that. Floating Forest struck me with that scene from Kurosawa's Throne of Blood, the moving forest that approaches the castle, fuuuuuck.
