  1. Can't wait to listen to the next instalment! Danny never reissues the tapes again does he? I love the artwork for these recent releases.
  2. Baggy cargo trousers. It's classic idm, folks.
  3. Didn't open say this was going to be one of his most 'accessible' records lol? Mutant Standard mayne n______n
  4. This guy never sleeps! I've been giving his Dark Days record a blast, is this considered his best work at all? there's some really great stuff on here dagnammit!
  5. Well I'm glad the money is going to a good cause. Amiga Railroad Adventures is a gem so far, I don't think I've heard a weak track yet and I'm half way through.. I'm gonna give that Satomi Taniyama album a go after I've divulged and satisfied with ARA. Looks like Madlib has a ways to go before matching these dudes for the king of characters!
  6. Cheers for the links Herr Jan! I'm back form work now and buying the shit out of it and a few other releases of his. Any idea what his Satomi Taniyama alias is like? the artwork looks like some vaporwave project. I've also been listening to Franz Falckenhaus' The Lost Border. The last track, Wuppertal Schwebebahn, has a nice Drexciyian vibe about it.. Wolfers is the man! I can't believe the output of this guy. I never thought someone could top Madlib for most pseudonyms haha.
  7. I've not even heard this LP but lawd what a track this is!
  8. ^They'll kick yer' fuckin' head in if you touch their gear m8.
  9. I full time knob shaker you say? AND get paid for it? Colour me interested!
  10. I couldn't embed the video. It's a (cockney) Liverpool fan crying on talksport Edit: it embedded kek.
  11. That's a rofl. He's got to be smashed right? he went crazy at that event, so much gold!

yeah, the books after A Scanner Darkly are all pretty much the same story (related to the fact that he was going crazy, they're good too, but probably better if you're already well versed in his stuff), if you like Science Fiction in general I'd start chronologically with Solar Lottery, they get progressively better after that. Alternatively my picks would The Man in the High Castle, The Game Players of Titan, A Scanner Darkly, The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Ubik, Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said, and Martian Time Slip. Thanks for the rec's caze. I'll be sure to use this as a rule of thumb in future.

Elantris by Brandon Sanderson (he helped finish off The Wheel of Time iirc). I wanted a standalone or short fantasy series to read after eating the huge chunks that GoT offers up. ------ Also, any recommendations on where to start with Mr. Philly K 'Donglord' Dick? I've seen some discussion on here before about his books and was intrigued after reading about him a bit more this week. I do know not to start with VALIS though, that's the general opinion at least.
  14. Hannibal - Season 2. Mads Mikkelsen is brilliant in it. I really love the 'mushroom' episode from the first season though!
  15. Oberheim Space is still one of the best releases this year dudes.
  16. Would love them to be able to distribute more on the CD side. Wax would be nice but could rightly stay limited, but CD's mayne Kinda sucks paying full price for digitals when a nice CD would be more beneficial for me and I think a lot of others, there's clearly a decent sized following.
  17. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ocqb75o2rfE&spfreload=10 Dimm Grimm deed it. I see Ta-Ku noted him on the SC page, fair do's. It sounded very familiar.

Just finished The Saga of The Volsungs and I'm now starting The Saga of King Hrolf Kraki. Getting a feel for Norse mythology and Tolkien influence.
  19. This whole saga has left me on the edge, I don't know whether to crave more releases or settle for what we have. 28 Organ.... n_______n my gf said that it was 'nice' (melodies) but not something she would listen to. That's an accomplishment in my books!
