  1. Looks like Episode 3 of Dusk (the indie Quake/Blood hybrid from last January) is finally available for early access. And will officially be a complete game on Monday. Might have to give it a go again soon. And I think the full Ion Maiden (using Duke 3D's Build engine) is slated for completion in Q1 2019 also...on top of an avalanche of already promising games next year.
  2. I'm starting to think that the fact that The Outer Worlds got revealed three weeks after FO76's launch isn't coincidence. Being that the game's project leaders are also the original creators of Fallout, I think this was a calculated move by Obsidian, if not a slap in the face toward Bethesda for shitting the bed. They knew FO76 would be a potential disaster, and they were right. They were just waiting for the right moment to strike.
  3. Welp, here it is And now I'm even more intrigued. Guess I should be prepared to spend about $300 on new games next year.
  4. ^ Ohh yeah. 9 hours away still from the time of this post, but it's rumored to be geared towards Fallout fans specifically as the target audience. Kinda stoked.
  5. Incels with their micro-Pepe's claiming false male victimhood and worshiping you-know-who. They are the most privileged yet insecure motherfuckers on the planet today. And it's not just women they hate.
  6. Not that I'm aware of. I think Monolith pretty much hung it up on the series after the third one in 2013.
  7. F.E.A.R. the main game is still one of the best. It's not just the atmosphere and the combat, but the enemy AI that makes it shine. Amazing for 2005 that the clone soldiers can spit out tactical updates to their teammates notifying them of your exact position, right down to the type of furniture. As for System Shock, you're in luck. I can confirm that the Steam version will work with Win 10 OS.
  8. Couple of more Super Metroid highlights from the same dude The Crateria Surface one would make for good festive Holiday music lol
  9. As long as pitted olives don't have piss in them, that's all that matters.
  10. DX: Nihilum doesn't feature any additional Laputin Machine, but it is an unofficial prequel to the events of the main game. All new story, maps, characters, and even new guns: https://www.moddb.com/mods/nihilum
  11. True, and I've thought about that. The feedback commentary to that piece claims it's the best version they've ever heard, but maybe that's subjective. I admit that this version seems intentionally grandiose and dynamic, while it might be overlooking the fact that the original 1994 score was probably composed with some refinement in mind. I think the bells in particular feel somewhat sound out of place.
  12. ^ Oh gawd, Halloween Harry. Classic Apogee tackiness. I think I was at Sea-Tac airport of all places back in '94 when I first stumbled upon a hard copy of it on floppy. I've been wanting to make a cover of this for a while now. But I don't think I'd be able to match this level of production, even tho the notes aren't 100 percent accurate.
  13. I think we need a total media blackout on Trump. Meaning no outlet can bring him up, mention him, show him, whatever. Ignore him completely. That would really get under his skin lol
  14. The mantis shrimp is indeed one of the most badass creatures on this planet.
  15. Tried a new playthrough on Fallout: NV yesterday but it kept crashing, even after two or three different fix attempts. I'm too old to be bothered with this kinda shit. So I opted for a new NMS playthrough instead, and have begun my journey in a completely different star system from where I started last time. Not only do I admire how vastly open the game is, but also that it appears to be a different procedural set each time to keep things fresh. Looking forward to see what kind of additional updates we get down the road. And like I said before, if Bethesda follow Hello Games' example and strive to improve FO76, then I might finally try it out as well...even if that takes up to two years.
  16. Naw, it wouldn't. Lack of energy, depression, irritability, shortness of breath, clothes feeling tight...these are among the reasons I'm still keeping a steady gym routine going on 8 months now. I'm talkin if you never had to get up again and you could just wallow in your pillowy silky smooth fat folds - congrats on maintaining a gym routine It would be a deceptively slow and awful way to die tho. And thanks btw :)

  18. my brother is in anchorage right now and i woke up to like 80 text messages. also my house was shaking all the way up in fairbanks! Shit, man. We were only about 7 miles south of the epicenter. But considering you're about 360 miles north and still felt it, it's just a humble reminder that plate tectonics don't give a fuk about us little sausages skittering around topside.
  19. Things I've noticed following a 7.0-7.2 magnitude earthquake: - It's damn near impossible to reach someone on your phone within the first hour after the main tremor - Gas/petrol/fuel pumps are busier than usual, as are grocery stores/supermarkets - Many local restaurants and businesses are closed, and people are especially bitchy if it's liquor stores - Pets remain scared shitless for hours - Phone texts are frequent, as are FB notifications - Aftershocks get gradually weaker with each hit (thankfully) - In the same city that saw a 9.4 magnitude earthquake back in 1964, most infrastructure is adapted for this very scenario, and it is apparent even today.
  20. Survived the 7.2 earthquake that hit about 2 hours ago in southcentral Alaska. Everyone I know is fine as well. Had only a minor mess to clean up at home, but we're still riding the aftershocks.
