Summer of '95 was the height of my Magic: The Gathering obsession. I remember the Polar Kraken being one of my very first cards. I think there were also knockoff card games at the time like Jyhad and Wyvern. But this is was also two years before I first discovered two (or technically three) of WATMM's featured artists, by which time I pretty much gave up M:TG.

TBH I don't think Ae and The North Face are mutually exclusive. But I like both regardless.

^ Would that mean that they no longer care about voting? If that's the case, that will give the rest of us an advantage in the next election cycle.- 22,233 replies

Needless to say, I'm sick of all the lying, slandering, racist, xenophobic, straw-manning bullshit coming from all these alt-right cockroaches. YouTube is especially problematic for this. Although from nearly three months ago, this article does a pretty good job of explaining the epidemic: https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2018/03/why-the-rights-dark-web-trolls-are-taking-over-youtube YouTube as a company need to be more aggressive at purging all these sock-puppet accounts. I don't recall if there are any anti-bot measures like a captcha for registration of new accounts, but either way they need to get their shit together.- 22,233 replies

It would be nice to have a game that plays like Legend of Zelda: ALttP but has a Metroid-like setting. But I'm not sure if any indie games that match that scenario exist yet.

I was probably one of the fattest people on WATMM two months ago. And aging coupled with lack of exercise are an unforgiving combo. But now I'm doing harder workouts on a regular basis at 33 than I ever have in my teens or 20s. And it's paying off. Hope I'm not getting too preachy though.

^ Pretty much. Rice isn't even a chore anymore once you have a rice cooker. A decent one like a National or a Zojirushi, that is.

Shortly after midnight, 25th September, 2015. Outside Holocene venue in Portland, OR, USA Guys are loading up tour bus with equipment, packing up the show for the night Phil (Cygnus): Hey Sean, do we need to start loading up the gear yet? Sean: They've been putting the fucking shit in there the whole time! Can't remember if those were their exact words, but it's how I remember it

That`s that wage gap, women are getting poorer. Soon the begging will stop and they will turn to violent crime , enjoy your safe streets while you can, it`s coming to an end. Yeah because current fascist trends will eventually be counteracted by anarchy and all that crap. On a more serious note, realistically women won't resort to violence unless you go out of your way to wrong them. A Guy Called Gerald was part of 808 State. Also, they were arguably responsible for one of the best dance pieces ever conceived IMO:

I hate when strangers either ask me for money or my phone. For some reason though they've all been female, over the past year or so.

I only managed one playthrough right after it came out. Haven't touched it since because it just didn't keep me engaged like Human Revolution did, of which I ran about ten playthroughs in comparison. You'll be spending most of MD in Prague, as it's the game's only hub city. Golem City looked cool, but EMP weapons got a huge nerf. I miss when you could junk a hulking Box Guard in HR with a single EMP grenade.

I feel like I'm starting to get burnt out on politics in general. My views haven't changed, but it's like sensory overload now. Maybe I just need a break.- 22,233 replies

I still use my 9-year-old Zojirushi rice cooker every now and then. If it's white rice though, I always wash it first until the cloudiness is (mostly) gone from the water. The trick I've learned for the water amount is the fingernail test - gently submerge your fingertip whilst touching the rice. And if the water level is either at or very slightly below the base of your fingernail, you're good to go. Getting the right water amount is probably the trickiest part with a rice cooker. But once you have that mastered, the rest is child's play.

For some reason I thought that was an actual Castlevania game at first. Impressive artwork. Just started a new Doom 2016 playthrough for the first time in almost a year on Ultra Violence difficulty. I forgot how much fun this game is. Apparently there's a new 4K mode now, but I'm not sure what it does exactly. Seems like I have been getting a smoother framerate from it though.
