  1. I thought the Parking Lot sample was from Counting Crows ''ooh baby we paved paradise and put up a parking lot, ooh baby'' Just shows how many naff 90's popcycles were borrowing from eachother. ''Baby please, let me pave paradise. I can put up a parking lot. I'll get rich quick''
  2. Loving the HAB outtakes. Some of them are better than what's on HAB. How could he not found some space for these on the EP? i think it's because he was releasing so much stuff back then that his mind melted and these were left dormant on a Dat.....until now. HAB 3 folder created.
  3. You were replaced by borys. A less beastly alternative.
  4. lol, bill in monster mansion has gotta be a black comedy
  5. There's only one place for Bill now that his decades of crime have come to light. Stick him in Monster Mansion aka Beastville. There'ill be a variety of cellmates for him to play Cluedo with into the midnight hours. It is only then that he can reflect on his odious ways. Gary Glitter is mostly heading there within a few days as well, that place will be bursting at the seams with beastliness. I hope the prison guards are on lots of money.
  6. Wagner through the mountain clouds, Georgian choral pieces, Popol Vuh everywhere,,,,and those are just the tunes Ha, yeah i think Nosferatu is the perfect appetizer after Sniper. They're a p air of bloodthirsty alpha male types and a bit daft
  7. American Sniper 7/10 - Painting by numbers narrative. Realistic war scenes. It was alright. Nosferatu The Vampyre 10/10 - Dawgs, this is a masterpiece.
  8. Godzilla 6/10 - Too many plot holes and boring lead characters drag this needlessly into the mud. CG, music and sound design are really good. Cold in July 7/10 - Yeah it was ok, Don Johnson, Michael C Hall and Sam Shepard travel into the dark world of redneck Texas 1989. It's mullet central.
  9. Agree with above. A great modern, sinister noir. I've been recommending this film to all and sundry for as lock as he clock chimes..
  10. Hot dang, I meant bafta I'll eat the bluray if he doesn't scoop that
  11. ^ Wow. Whiplash 8/10 - I have a new appreciation for Burningn n Tree after this. If JK Simmons doesn't get best supporting actor at the Golden Globes then i'll eat the DVD of this when it comes out in June
  12. In other words it becomes the desert wasteland in the Reach For The Dead video.
  13. Expendables 3 - Sly, Frasier and Mel is a pretty outlandish formula for action, but it was good! - 8/10
  14. Locke's strength is within it's concrete foundation sorry In Phone Booth Farrell's character was a guy forced to admit his faults rather than try and worm his way out of it. Locke is the polar opposite, he freely admits to his indiscresions while running as far away from them as he possibly can. And he's the more noble man.
  15. Yeah, Locke was pretty impressive. I liked it in the same way i liked Phone Booth.
  16. Not Fulci's finest due to the poor acting and some really fake looking special effects. Couldn't help think that nipple that got sliced off would sit nicely on top of that Goodfellas Pepperami i cooked tonight.
  17. Really enjoying walking round the spaceship in Alien Isolation and checking out what they've done with that place, nice authentic interior design, retro compters and tape players, that woodpecker, original Goldsmith music, (sadly game keeps crashing back to the desktop after level 1, really annoying, a few bugs to fix in the dir folder. Liked what i've seen so far though)
  18. Screener torrenters should also provide a review of the font in their assessments. Size, sanserif or not, times at which it appears, ie 12:09, Times New Roman (looks italic but i can't tell for sure cos of the yellowish tinge due to the lack of pixels).
  19. That guy better go on death row. He has no place in society and no place in Florida. Lead him to death row now.
  20. I finally finished pimping up a generic a 3 year old Dell Optiplex on saturday by slotting in 8gb DDR2. Spent about 200 on it over the last year with parts from Ebay, about as much as this little machine can handle, intel quad core , bitchin graphics card, blu-ray burner. The power supply might be an issue, and the tiny hard drive means i can only install 6 or 7 games on it Played Call of Duty Ghosts on it last night and it was smooth gameplay all the way, bit of a pain in the arse getting it to work on a USB controller with Xbox360 emulator exe though. Currently dling Alien Isolation. Who's played it? The reviews say it's pretty immense and gives you a sense of dread like the original Alien film
  21. Q: How does the World view America these days?A: I think it has a few citizens in every state who are so americanized and self centred it's as almost as if no other country existed on the planet. They think everyone has ESPN friday night football and travels in fucking Uber cabs.
  22. Brit hipsters, hi... Leave these shores from Hull on a boat called Titanic III. Only the glasses float. It's the lenses.
