  1. That 20th Century Fox logo's from The French Connection as I recall
  2. I'm making Modey a little ball off shame, a nucleus of potentially positive energy
  3. A sense of shame'll wash over u, it'll b alright. DISGRACE!
  4. BCM is modelling the HUGO BOSS watch exclusive to players who get a hole in 1
  5. Enjoying the slow burn of Fargo, it really is a chip off the old block. Basking in the art horror of Hannibal. Poor Will Graham, what can he do to get out of this dreadful situation? Checking in at the Bates Motel for the second series. The guy that plays Norman is an impressive actor, as is Vera Farmiga, the weird mother/son bond brings light to the backstory. Pretty intriguing.
  6. Very organised and efficient. You should have been an administrator :-D
  7. Dom Hemingway - 5/10 Meandering character. Twas indeed rather silly by all accounts. Law approached it as a character he could get his teeth into, must have looked better on paper. It was also rude. Blue Jasmine - 8/10 This was really good. I was unsure if i'd like it but I thought it was the best Woody Allen film I've seen since Mighty Aphrodite. Blanchett is immense as you may imagine, all the cast are great...great story, great characters, great comedy. Her - 6.5 With Phoenix wearing two shirts on top of one another and his trousers up at his stomach I thought this was gonna be hipster hell. He mopes around in a futuristic, technologically saturated America where he has lost contact with the humans around and falls in love with the Windows 8 upgrade. The film explores the themes nicely and make you think ''if i did grow bored of these hipsters, could I connect with my OS when all else fails to suffice?'', it seems out there, and it pushes certain ideas to extremes, but the blandness of the inevitable finale makes 2 hours running time with the moping Phoenix just a little too much. Nice set design though, he has a cool flat and wooden hipster flat-screen computer monitors.
  8. ''What the fuck do you mean Limpyloo's an autistic gay dwarf who went through Lindsay Lohan hell?''
  9. Hunger Games: Catching Fire ----- 7.3/10 I like sequels where it follows on from where the last one left off so i was happy with the crossover here. I like Hunger Games but i still have the feeling it's too close to the Battle Royale format, but thats the books problem. Very good movie which engages and gets you involved with the non-lead actors. No more lead actors in films pls.
  10. Enemy 2nd Viewing, starting to look at background set design and subtle stuff I didn't look at the first time. I think this film is a masterpiece.
  11. Fooking gorgeous track. Love how they both must have steadfastly agreed not to cut it down to a shorter running time. ''This isn't an album track we can let it run unedited. It's jamming'' "Cool''
  12. Wolf Creek 2 7/10 Pretty beastly. Wolf Creek 2 is the quintessential horror sequel. It don't fuck about. Fans of Wolf Creek 1 will understand that we have now extracted the the tension from that one, now lets get to know the savage Mick Taylor a little bit better, and lets see how he reacts to some European' s in his bush.
  13. Enemy 8.5/10 Twas with delight and without expectation i embraced the delectable Enemy. It's been a long time since seeing something which reminded one of the fine mysteries of Lynch's post 1997 feature lengths, yet it is here to some extent in the form of mood and abstract innuendo. And also Isabella Rosselini in a cameo as Gyllenhaal's mum. A brooding Toronto has never looked so menacing since Shivers (or maybe Crash). Most of the surprise was going in thinking this was a thriller like Villeneuve's immense 'Prisoners' from last year. Maybe that's how you should approach it too if you are reading this post.
  14. Dawg, it's the doc who drives the movie!! He's a lifeforce. He's manic. He refused to star in the sequel as a ghost after director Tom Six slashed the budget.
  15. oh' wud u like to hibernate with me schitz? don't be scared; i promise to keep my little hands to my selves. i will be good, but u r so cute schitz Theres nothing left in society for you anymore. Leave and never come back.
  16. Butthurt punks can pick flaws in the process but the end result is us hearing an album we would never have heard otherwise. It's that simple.
  17. Dawg, the anger and distain on that forum is pitiful. There's about another 5 threads like that on there. They fail hard. Anyone else cringe at ''DJHardcode"s angst?
  18. Been revisiting the old Caustic Window compilation to get back into the caustic vibe. It's so long ago ago. AFX was so prolific back then it's as if this was tossed under the carpet like an old porno mag with your mum in the readers wives section.
  19. A crisp sounding AB5 wouldn't go amiss while we're splashing the $ to this extent :-D
  20. I'm backing this up with some funds. But i wanna check who gets the royalties if one of the tracks is played on Top Gear?
