This is the million dollar question. One argument for Bernie is that the democratic base will vote democratic no matter who the nominee is. So the people who prefer Biden over Bernie will still go out and vote for Bernie because they simply vote their party. And if Bernie is the nominee we'll see lots of people who dislike crappy candidates like Biden go out and vote for him. In addition, I think people who think Biden is really far ahead aren't taking into consideration that the same person who would vote for Kamala Harris or Elizabeth Warren, would also vote for Bernie. Progressive candidates are in a way interchangable when it comes to polling. I don't think I've seen anyone say they like one progressive candidate and not Bernie. So the people who do are in a great minority. Though I've seen some peeps say they dislike Kamala and like Bernie now that I think about it. IMHO Biden is polling so well in large part because of name recognition among democratic party 'normies'. They just vote who they recognize and have a similar mentality to the Republican's "We just need to get a republican in office" thing. Progressive candidates not so much. For them it's more a case for "which progressive candidate do you prefer slightly over the other" for whatever reason, and I'd vote for all three any day. Whereas if Biden is the chosen nominee I'll have to gather up all my willpower to go out and vote for that stick in the mud. All that said, IDK if a progressive candidate can win in 2019. Lots of elderly folk still stuck in that Reagan era greed is good mentality. I think there's a reason we see the progressive trend EMERGING now, but it may be a few more election cycles before one can win. However I think in the next 4/8/12 years progressive candidates will be the most popular and for sure will eventually take over the democratic party.

lol, the rats drop humanity. Last question, does the humanity sitting in your inventory determine how boosted the 'item discovery rate' is? Or do you have to use it in some way?

Having 15 flasks is really compelling, especially for bosses. Though I suppose if I make it to a boss I'm having trouble with I could just farm it. Which is the least fun aspect of any game.

Sweet. Yeah the whole recovering health with humanity thing is part of the reason why I'm compelled to save them up. Hmm. how much humanity would you think is too much to have on you at once? Since I'm bound to die twice in a row and lose your souls/humanity a lot now that I'm in unexplored territory. Especially in blight town. I feel like I should just keep using them since I have a lot.

I've just made it to blight town in my current playthru. I've never made it this far. Suddenly I'm reluctant to play, knowing there is rage in my future. lol. Quick question, when is the best time to use my humanity to reverse hollow/kindle? Before bosses? I know in the future I'll probably start dying more from the enemies so I imagine I'm just saving up humanity for no good reason. I've died several times because of the janky rolling. Just today I rolled into this tiny crack in this staircase just big enough for the character to fall through. Then came back, got my humanity and whatnot, then the enemy at the top of the staircase hit me, and I fell like a magnet right into the crack again.

My biggest gripe with DS1 is the movement, which leads to the almost random deaths by falling. I do like the whole 'once you commit to an attack you can't take it back' thing. Is Demon Souls worth playing? I think it would be best to play the DS games in order. It may feel weird to go from DS3 to Demon Souls. I got on the Dank Souls bandwagon super late myself, and think DS1 is a sweet game. The atmosphere reminds me of Resident Evil 4 at times.

Bernie is the best. And it's good that he actually has similarly minded people this time around. If any other progressive candidate ever wins they have him to thank for showing the public is (increasingly) ready for more progressive policies.

lol I'm playing thru the original DS 1 as well. This is my third attempt at doing so because my computer always gets screwed up and i lose my progress. Anyway I'm about a quarter thru the game, and I've only had a handful of deaths, all except one attributed to %&#$ ledges or just environmental deaths.

Finished Chernobyl. Definitely really good. IDK about #1 imdb level good, but it was a good watch, though bit depressing. One of those shows or movies where watching it once is good enough.

a fuggin awesome movie. Freaks (1937). Check it out, it's an hour long. The scene toward the end in the rain is masterful for the 30s.

I'd be 90% fine with it and 10% creeped out. It's more akin to having a lot of eyes on you IRL typed creeped out. Not worried about perverts typed creeped out.

Yeah that's what I'm hoping. And that's EXACTLY what I thought, that it feels like a family guy joke or something. Just entirely bland. The reason I'm worried even though we have no context, is that they chose to show it as the first preview. Not a good sign.

hmm I'd say the soundtrack is pretty bland and forgettable, but it wasn't annoying to me or anything. Though I can't recall a single thing about it, but it didn't dampen my enjoyment of the show. I really liked the animation. Yeah it is basic, but captured the characters well. I know someone like every character in the show.

It can't be helped. I can understand why someone wouldn't like it. Part of the reason I like it is because I can relate to the characters. There are many "that is so true" moments. Tried Tuca and Bertie?

New Rick and Morty season 4 speak peak is not good. The fact that this is what they chose to use as a sneak peak is worrisome. I know they have more writers now so they can chug out episodes faster. And I won't be surprised if it shows. Just comparing it to the first season it lacks that creativity. Like... an episode centered around creating apps....*groan* But you know, there's no context to the clip so maybe it is better as a part of a whole.
