    i lived in san diego when the recall happened. so crazy. i mean..the guy they recalled.. i can't even remember his name. he was an asshole and no one liked him but he didn't do anything 'wrong' and all the property tax hikes and shit that happened were triggered by events that happened before he got into office.. i think that's how i remember it. it was long ago. arnie has done a great PR job on his image via social media even though he had a secret family and all that..

    yeah. .someone smarter. trump is gifted at the grift and speaking to his people but otherwise isn't very smart at all. he had some enablers around him and he held them hostage as much as he could. most of the protestors stayed outside the capitol. but it seems obvious shit got out of hand and the super angry determined people were in front and felt emboldened by the crowd and trump's words. My guess is the FBI has identified most people who went inside the capitol and have put their names on the no fly list and other relevant lists until they can investigate. this was a coup attempt though imo. and some security failures and some people in various agencies just looking the other way. i'm gonna go make some pancakes for dinner and work on tracks to put these feels to bed for a while because fuck.

    trump supporters receiving aid after being tear gassed on wednesday now the subject of a PS battle on reddit.

    watching them deal with the tear gas outside the capitol was satisfying. they seem to have not prepared or learned anything from BLM protests or the hong kong protests where they grab the canister with a cone or whatever and dump water on it.. or they do that thing where they combine it w/whatever and it turns into lumpy mass.
