    my safari bookmarks got fucked up because they sync'd w/the newer laptop over iCloud and so i lost some favs. i don't remember even setting up the cloud. ugh.

    yesterday i went to the store.. masked up.. distanced. saw people on the sidewalk w/masks under their chins. they looked like old friends who hadn't seen each other in a while..s topped and chatted and hugged. then pulled their masks up and went into the store. this virus isn't going away any time soon. even here in portland where most people are being careful/safe/smart there's still enough people being dumb and careless to keep spreading it.

    that's how PTO works at corporate gigs. you get whatever amount of PTO they offer and that's all your sick days, vacation days and holidays and you pick, subject to scheduling depending on the job, which days you take off. so if you get 2 weeks vacation that's 80 hours PTO + whatever number of sick days etc etc.. but it also means that it's likely that on the holidays if you do work you get time and a half.. so you get paid more for working on holidays. .. all depending on the holiday of course. so, it sounds like they just designated it a holiday. corporate speak at its best.

    nightly news here in USA reported that he's taking hydroxychloroquine. what a dope. complications from that are well noted.

    relatable. such back issues.. it's a nightmare. i found that the only way to totally relax my back muscles is rest my legs up on the couch or a chair while laying on the floor.. not just prop up by my heels but scoot my ass all the way to the couch so my calves are on the couch. then my hips etc relax, stomach relaxes and my whole back just loosens up. like this: also, i use a foam roller pretty much every way. it's great for rolling out the soft tissue. so helpful. i alternate ice/heating pad some times too. ice pack for pain reduction and numbing things.. then heat to reduce inflammation and increase blood flow. stretching my legs every day helps too. hamstrings, quads etc.
