hadn't heard this before, hell yea.

2021 plans: - continue to refine my craft as an artist and musician, including the development of my artistic and professional networks, and what i do with my content after it has been made. - continue to scale back on my exposure to unnecessary "entertainment". i want to create more silence and space in my life for my own consciousness instead of turning on mindless noise (like youtube videos while cooking or stretching in the morning). meditation will be a part of this shift, for sure. - pursue a deeper level of health and connection with regards to my food and my own cooking. i'd like to incorporate more probiotics into my life (including getting into fermenting myself) and expand my cooking repertoire. - re-develop a robust exercise practice. due to covid and rehab of some chronic injuries, i lost the momentum i had built up in working out at my local gym. although i've been good in some ways about working on my body during covid, i have lots of room to improve and look forward to figuring that out. - continue to look inward and work on myself. 2020 was huge for this, and i expect 2021 to further that trend. - develop deeper connections to the people in my life. i'm not great at relationship stuff, but i am getting better at it. there's other stuff but those are the primary goals.

i've also thought quite a bit about these hi hats. i love how they switch from playing normally to playing in reverse (or whatever it is they're doing to get that sound).

i also enjoy your acid videos with the family. hearing the voices in the background creates an interesting layer against the acid. also it's fun seeing your face as well ?

i don't have any answers for you, but i can say that i've also noticed weird things going on in ableton live with regards to CC messages and phantom midi messages.

lol, i'd love it if this became a john madden thread for a bit. boom

y'all know john madden? it's kind of a weird reference for sure, but my brain finds him to be pretty funny. here we find john in his native habitat, ready for football (or whatever you brits like to call it). i love his expression and posture. you can clearly see that this man is ready and possibly aroused at the suggestion of some football. given that people with larger heads tend to have higher iq, i think it's safe to say that john is almost certainly some kind of savant. i love that in this unedited photo, it really looks like his eyes have been replaced with tiny mouths. also, check out that bottom lip. that's a powerful lip. it's pretty clear he speaks with his hands, what an expressive guy. oh and he also wants to help you fight athlete's foot. he's even willing to turn away from a game in action to recommend the product to you, ya dummy! in searching google for the photos used here, i noticed that he could probably be used to build an excellent set of reaction images (or whatever they're called) also i love trying to imagine what was going on when this high resolution work of art was shot. ok, back to politics and reblogging memes now

i'm curious how you got the kinda floaty, pulsing, ethereal quality in the first part of this track. is it through the use of LFO and a delay? really like this one, great vibes. i like the use of jazzy drums alongside synths.
