    Yeah — Bad Witch, and the collaboration with HEALTH for Isn't Everyone are some of the best NIN material I've heard in ages. I might try to revisit this album soon, but I dunno if my opinion will change much. I could be wrong, but yeah it wasn't for me when it came out.

    That's awesome that you got a job offer there — I recently had some very cool fortune of a similar nature, and I'm now working for a great company that really invests in their employees etc. Thanks for the kind words on the photography. If I can get some capital together, I would like to put together a zine or something. Might be a ways off though, as all my archives are currently up north.

    I'm not gonna go into details, because it's not my place to, but I really don't think he wants to go the self releasing route. Everyone will just have to be patient for uncle Andy to put it out on Skam ?

    I spoke with Ade a couple of weeks ago, no release date yet. Music is ready, Ade's itching for it to be released so he can decompress and make new stuff. Trust me, he's as eager for it to be released as we are.

    I've worked for some hell-holes. Warehouses, call centres, police office staff. All fucking horrible jobs where the customers/clients you're dealing with are horrible, as well as the people you're working for. My current job is the best thing I've ever had — support consultant for a web hosting company. Really enjoying it.

    Thanks for saying so! A lot of people that frequent Flickr would disagree with you, and base that on inconsequential things like noise in the image, image blur, slight unsharpness, etc. Flickr, in my experience anyway, is a breeding ground for armchair experts to pontificate on minutiae that ultimately either doesn't matter or completely detracts from the whole point of photography for me — an image that makes me feel something. But now I'm pontificating so I'll stop. You are correct though in that Flickr, at least used to, have a fairly professional userbase.

    Bearing in mind that "Last Seen" just simply disables the timestamp of when you were last seen at the top of the chat message. It doesn't turn off the "Online" signifier when that person is actually online and you happen to be looking at that chat thread.

    Nope, the online status is always enabled, you can't turn that off. You can deffo turn off receipts, and typing indicators, but not the online indicator.

    Also, it is possible to track whether someone is "Online" on WhatsApp, since this information is accessible publicly, and there's no way to turn it off. This has created a cottage industry of sites and services that will let you "snoop" on people to see if they're online at the same time as someone else, usually marketed towards partners who think they're being cheated on

    WhatsApp terms update looks like there's a bit more on it here, but basically it's still coming, and I'm still not okay with it. Fuck them.
