Being a total sucker for his past stuff, i was admittedly put off by my first couple listens. Everything from Splaszh to Ghettoville seemed to permeate from the get go. I guess AZD has more of a slow-burning effect; i found myself just thinking about certain parts of tracks and how i wanted to listen to them again, then the album just seemed to click for me. How didn't i recognize the undeniable Actress-ness of it all? The musical equivalent of a good sativa stupor. Definitely effective use of white noise, accenting the overall diminished tone of the album Falling Rizlas is strikingly humanistic, possibly the most organic sounding shit heard from him. The way Fantasynth and Blue Window melt into each other like a hazy daydream is a definite highlight, right before the full-on techno flex arcing from CYN to Runner, with the Rammellzee vocals opening like an alarm clock. Dancing In The Smoke and There's An Angel In The Shower are equally incredible, but in their own way. It's just too bad I have to skip over Faure In Chrome every time lol Man i am so FUCKIN excited to hear the man live in miami this year

Topic related, original post unrelated I was playing this record on 33 instead of the intended 45 and there's this high frequency that becomes audible on and off throughout the song. Anyone have flac or another officially-released digital format that notices it too?

you'd be willing to wait for the discount for years? is a difference of $5 that much of a problem to you? Chiastic Slide doesnt mean nearly as much as me as LP5 or Confield do individually, so yeah i'll wait til i find a secondhand repress for cheaper somewhere in the future

Fucking heart-breaking, eyes actually watered up. I think cause i see my mom in her :( poor lady, and poor pups :( :( not sure what escalated to that, but i'm confident in saying there is no possible justification for what he did At least she appeared ok when they were talking to her but still... ... :(

I have a Radio Shack deck, looks more like a voicemail machine. I used to record all sorts of bullshit back in high school..drum machine jams, synth experimentation, dj sets, and bad trips. Those tapes are laying around in boxes, should be good fun to relive one day

^that is absolutely incredible man, good on you My dad was quite similar when both his hips started going really bad at the same time (and i mean bad, i saw the x-rays). He's always been fine with smoking weed but i think it wasnt til then that he fully realized the benefits of such an application. Of course it's not medicinal here in FL quite yet, but it would have been a textbook example of when it helps with these matters -
It's great seeing all these female-only festivals they advertise nowadays! Really forward-thinking of them to let the ladies have their own private excursions like that! Us males don't usually go to music festivals anyways right lads?! Just a bounty of fun-loving females in those sands! p.s. where the hell did they pull that dilluted stock festival footage from? Its not like they did that last year right? Such hogwash every single bit of it. I have little to no sympathy for anyone that spent money on this
