  2. lol Just started watching this show a few weeks ago but we burned through the first season and a half... It's enjoyable, but I'd have to agree with the script being kind of shitty. Some of the lines almost make me cringe, and why has Rick become Christian Bale Batman with his angry whispery voice? Who the fuck talks like that irl?
  3. I did this with the drums on my track Altered Plug. I've been a drummer most of my life so I wanted to make them sound the way I would hear it while playing (behind the drums) rather than standing in front of them. Perhaps he wanted it to sound like/or actually did record with the mic facing the piano like you said. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
  4. Watching Sons of Anarchy right now too. The gf and I just finished season 3 last night. It starts a little slow, but gets good :sup:
  5. that looks like a kiddie chair Hahah, it is. I've had it for about a decade now. Very reliable. Doesn't that kill your legs though? How big of a guy are ya?
  6. The forum I frequent the most on the internet got rid of its chatroom and now I'm forced to install a shitty plug-in that only some users can put to use, and on top of that I might have to start running an IM program to keep up with the people I talk to the most....

  10. Realized I haven't posted in here for a loooooooong time now... Wow, since the 7th of January. I really need to get back on it and figured I've give a short update of recent happenings. Firstly, back in March of this year I had a track released on an amazing compilation put out jointly by Complex Sound Sagacity and Karakasa Music. The "Karakasa vs CSS Collabs" series is a new concept, a collaboration between Karakasa(USA) and CSS(MT). The whole idea is that we give you the best artists out of the two netlabels in one package. This will include a special guest artist for every Collabs release. Collabs Vol.1 is now out spamming the web, With tracks from artists such as Oxynucid, HP Sneakstep, Acidburp, Fah, Kevin Polzer and many more. also includes a track by our first special guest Chevron. Previews and MP3/FLAC downloads are available here. I really feel that this compilation didn't get the attention it deserved when it finally was released. Here's my track titled The Approximation of a Number of Dreams: http://soundcloud.com/hautlle/the-approximation-of-a-number-of-dreams In late May a huge tornado ripped apart the town of Joplin, Missouri. Countless people were affected by this event, but even more came to the rescue. Nurses and doctors traveled many miles to come and help the many victims of the natural disaster. While so many people were at the scene helping restore the town to something that resembled what they remember, many artists near and far came together to help as well. Recession Recordings released Bring Back Before, a charity album from which the proceeds were donated to a charity to help rebuild the town. 47 tracks total, available in both physical and digital formats. This beast also managed to get a bit of attention from Peter Kirn of Create Digital Music, which hopefully sent additional aid to the area. Here's my addition to this album, a post-rock inspired piece titled Altered Plug http://soundcloud.com/hautlle/altered-plug Most recently, I had a track released on Worlds Most Records, an upstart label to host compilations created largely by WATMM members. The first offering of the label is a Tribute to Nikola Tesla It features some of WATMM's finest, and some very good friends of mine. Acidburp, William S. Braintree, Zephyr Nova, and Lascaille are a few of the artists found along with the person who organized the whole thing Asymmetrical Head. Some real quality tunes on this album, not a single "skipper" to be found in there. Once again, here's my offering Corrosive Energies (name thanks to Upstanding Monk) :sup: http://soundcloud.com/hautlle/tesla Thanks to everyone that continues to listen to the tunes I put out! I recently sent some tracks to CSS, time to start putting another release of my stuff together. Stay tuned to my blog, facebook page, or soundcloud for all the latest tunes, releases and news
  11. Agreed, my Zoom H1 has never given me the slightest bit of trouble.
  12. I just keep all finished tracks in a folder on my desktop called "New Album" Any WIP's are usually MP3's on my desktop or in my dropbox for easy sharing w/ friends for feedback. Finished albums and things that won't be used go into my MP3 directory on my storage drive for future listening experiences.
  13. Dude, miss you brah. Get at me.

  14. Thanks for the kind words man. Glad you enjoy, and thanks for listening!

  15. Thanks a lot deleter! My personal goal was to focus more on the synths and less on the beat this go'round.
  16. So the end of 2010, and the beginning of 2011 have been very exciting thus far. I had a project I am very proud of released on Complex Sound Sagacity. This was a project between myself and label-mate Justin Meli of IP Config and CV/Gate. I had heard some of his ambient work and I really liked it. After hearing it I was inspired to ask him if he would like to work with me. It was actually quite a bit of time before I asked him. I'm not sure why I didn't do it earlier, but it doesn't really matter because this turned out great. It was just kind of meant to be; the timing was perfect. We worked on the project over a bout a week's duration and it just flowed. We both contributed 50/50 completely on the project. Largely not communicating other than a few notes and messages exchanged. Somehow, despite the thousands of miles separating us we were in the same head-space. What emerged was an ambient soundscape that is very interesting and beautiful, but sometimes harsh. It's 35 minutes of a universe barren of life and devoid of form. I really enjoyed working on Justin with this and look forward to getting the opportunity to follow this up in the future. All tracks are untitled (6 tracks) Download/stream for free: http://www.soundsagacity.com/008andtimestoodstill.html I'm also excited to announce that I have a track on the Mega Man Renaissance EP! My version of the Snake Man theme is included with other covers done by H.P. Sneakstep, Mitch Murder, wahrk, The Hyperbolic Chamber, William S. Braintree, Aphex Twin, Katie Kilobyte and others.
