    I used to get them from mostly from age 14 to 18, with the last one probably at age 21. I would get a blind spot/aura, my fingers and lips would get numb, then that deathlike headache that would last about 12 hours, which I would try to sleep off in a dark room. Mine seemed to be induced by stress and also being outside in the sun with lots of glare (beach, pool a bunch of times). One time some one offered me pot while I had a migraine and holy shit I would recommend it to anyone as a remedy. It's the only thing that ever worked.

    What's this record all about? Van McCoy is probably my favorite soul producer/songrwriter from '60s and '70s (along with Holland Dozier Holland), but sometimes he has a bit of cheese, i.e. "The Hustle." I have yet to listen to it, but by the looks of it, it seems to be Van McCoy doing covers of some of the most sought after movies themes.... gone with the wind, theme from shaft, over the rainbow and so on... http://www.discogs.com/Van-McCoy-And-His-Magnificent-Movie-Machine/release/518890 Really fucking nice find on the Charles Wright album... I have been on the hunt for that one. Found this one not too long ago too. The guy at my local record store is like the pusher for my vinyl habit.

    I buy vinyl cheap - usually $3 to $5 bucks for an old LP. Occasionally I will DJ said vinyl for some cash and buy more vinyl. A real job helps too.

    The records I posted weren't recorded digitally. Most of the records I find are cheaper than they'd be on CD or mp3, and still sound better.
