Shrimpripple casual is probably my favorite track on this whole release.

holy shit 12xLP boxset of new shit I'm down. Bought. I wish I wasn't a poor college bitch back then and bought all the analords (and bitcoin for that matter). At least I have some of them: analord 10 picture disk, analord 11, analord 3, analord 6, analord 7.
-
Necroing this post because I just randomly saw this album pop up in my library and it's better than I remember. It actually aged really well.

Holy fuckin shit I just discovered this tune. Fucking massive shit - bout to order this one off discogs....
-
I’m assuming he just loses interest in certain things from time to time. Apart from record new music. That’s probably his number one thing in life/universe/etc.
I cannot FUCKING wait to hear that one track that's been played (the Jlin remix one). I want whatever album comes from that era of tracks. I want to blast that.

the digitone looks amazing. congrats! I've been tenderly loading my analog four with some new soundpacks
-
Yeah that demo is really good. Really shows how versitile the box is.
-
EDIT: I have been building out my personal youtube jungle playlist more and more and posting some of my favorites here
-
god damn the digitone looks awesome and I love the small form. I would get one but I already feel like I need to make better use of my beloved A4 first. When I get sick of how it sounds I might make a trade for one.

watch the fucking mtv version tho, far better
also going to post some of my favorites lately

maybe these aren't proper jungle but I don't give a fuck, genres are bullshit anyways

Aphex NEVER caters to expectation. I'm personally less excited about random track dumps, more excited about his new music. I like the style I heard from houston/primavera

I'd love to see the old comments archived somewhere.
edit: if anyone has a screenshot of him replying to "spinborn" I'd appreciate it if you could post it here
I honestly thought the whole time that somebody was archiving them. They are more or less archived in the soundcloud thread by people pasting them in comments. But still, I for some reason thought it was part of the big archive and I was mistaken to find out that it was just the track descriptions that were archived.

Likely been discussed, but is there any difference between the version of Lisbon Acid we all had before and this new 'unedited live version'?
Just played the 'unedited live' version with the 2009 Rephlex wav I had already and they're exactly the same save the file quality ('unedited live' on the Bleep store is 320 kbps mp3).
Am I missing something here? Why post a retitled mp3 of an already released track and not even post the rest of the Analord 07 EP?
I think Richard's intention for the Analord series is to stay analogue; might be why Chosen Lords isn't on there (although the more likely explanation is he just hasn't got around to it yet).
yeah but then they got released on deh rephlex site digital. And also he recorded the mixes down to minidisc so they weren't ever totally analog.
Ah, yes - you are correct! I forgot that Rephlex offered them up as digitals. Didn't know about recording them to MD - is that how he sent them to be mastered?
I remember reading a soundcloud comment ( or an interview? ) that he said he recorded to analord tracks to a portable minidisc device. Unfortunately NOBODY ARCHIVED HIS SOUNDCLOUD COMMENTS.

He's probably on holiday
enjoying the money he made from the recent partiesmaking drukqs vol 2. on a laptop -
Finally digging into and organising this material. 'choirDrilll' really stands out for me thus far; it's just glorious!
It sounds very plug inspired.
-
sounds really nice can't wait to hear all the full tracks.. Who handled your mastering?
-
Releasing things pseudonymously is a good way to try to gauge whether they're good, without getting false positives from people who already trust you. Although then you can get false negatives, what with there being so much new material from lesser known new artists. The Tuss was a pretty neat idea in that respect. I'm not sure how a "fake fake" double bluff would work though. Isn't that what the SoundCloud dump was in the first place, kind of?
It wasn't even known to be Richard at first. But it was simply so good, (especially when rushup edge came out), that it was assumed to be. Then again it didn't sound quite like anything he had made, the closest being analord 10, at the time. Community was split, but most agreed that it was very good. I think there are a lot of slow burners made by unknown artists that aren't immediately great to people, but are actually very good. The ones that seem immediately amazing usually get spread pretty widely.

Yeah I'm talking flagship album, like physical release that is generally available, Syro style, CCAI, etc. - been getting hyped by these unreleased live tracks.

"Allow us to be your trusted partner, who will always give you a comprehensive update on the happenings in the British music scene."
Well that's reassuring....
I can't wait for this section to be fleshed out http://www.rephlex.com/category/british-music/all-time-top-20/
