  1. all of the influences mashed together made it into something new in my opinion. Rewatching it and enjoying how much it feels like something straight from the 80's. Poor Barb. Hopper is my hero. Winona is still cute as fuck. Soundtrack is so amazing. Buy all of S U R V I V E 's music and KDIXON on bandcamp.
  2. Have you watched it yet? I loved it. Some plot holes but I think the editting was probably viscious to keep this thing at 8 episodes. I love the combo of influences that are well worn on the sleeves of this series. Richard Matheson and John Carpenter came to mind first while watching. Then Spielberg and Cronenberg creep up in to it. Twilight Zone as fuck also. Really fucking entertaining, well-acted and well-produced on the whole. The music fucking rules......members of the band SURVIVE provided the excellent music. I hope it becomes an anthology series with new stories each season. What do you think?
  3. Loved Stranger Things. The music is awesome, created by members of SURVIVE. The ending might leave a bit to be desired but on the whole it is exactly want I want to be experiencing in my films/tv shows Well done sci/fi with synth music and the best Stephen King I have ever seen on film, even though he had nothing to do with it. Might be why it works so well, a bit Carpenter, King, Cronenberg makes for an awesome cake. 7.5/10
  4. Black Dolphin has an Orange Milk release coming up soon. Glad ya'll are digging his music. here is his other project, Ethereal and the Queer Show, great sutff.... https://noumenalloom.bandcamp.com/album/eatqs-fairy-super-crystal-blue

  7. Man, totally in love as well....thanks
  8. hahahaha, I've got that in a folder of films to watch somewhere. I put it off every time I browse in there. It was on Netflix so my girlfriend and I thought "fuckit" and put it on. I regret it. I need a good horror movie. If you find one let me know, watched A Lonely Place To Die, it closed Frightfest film festival but isn't a horror at all, just Deliverance without the hilarious rape. The Other Side Of The Door isn't good and is probably a bit racist but has a couple of fun jump scares. There's a Belgian film you might be interested in then... It's not horror either but it's kinda fucked. Calvaire http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0407621/ Will check that Squee. Have you watched Clown? The American horror film, not the comedy. It surprised me in how entertaining it is and has some laughs. Nothing really scares me now except the news.
  9. Hairy bushes are indeed awesome..... Craptain Bummerica - Drivel Bore is not awesome, more Black Panther thanks, less Robert Downley Pruneyer.......4/10 Where to invade Next - must watch for all conservative idiot Christian Americans 8/10 Midnight Special - one of my favorite films in recent history 8/10 Stalker is still the best film ever made. 100/10

  11. Death Hunt is the first pet revenge film I ever done seen. can't wait to see Ex Machina.
  12. Gone Girl - good film, amazing cinematography, some okay acting, some good acting, loved the score, was traumatized and now I wonder if everyone around me is a psycho. 7/10
  13. The Babadook freaked me out......really loved it. Minimal horror films with good acting and writing always impress me. The underlying meaning of the whole story really effected me. Don't think I have actually ever seen someone face their fears on film at this depth before. 8/10

  16. Terror at the Mall is heartbreakingly beautiful. Amazing documentary, proving religious ideologies are ultimately dangerous in the hands of idiots. Also shows the positive power of humans in the face of immediate survival and horror. The courage that these people had during this crisis gives me hope for the humans. The way the Kenyan police dealt with it kills all that hope I had built up. We are better at ruling ourselves.
