  1. I have no ketchup, only hot sauce. Need to feel the burn to know I'm alive. I live on a property with my cabin + the main house where a couple I'm friends with live. I have to carry my dishes over there to wash them, and also have to go there to shower etc. The property itself is amazing, and i can make noise all day... so no complaints.
  2. Those are tins of evaporated milk, for my coffee. Shampooing the carpet may be the thing that inspires me to deal with the mess. There's just so much of it... everywhere. And it really doesn't bother me, because I'm always focused on something else. I only ever clean up for the sake of other people, and I haven't had anyone over in a year. The only thing that does bug me is dirty dishes... sure wish I had a sink in here.
  3. Spilt beer on it for the first time tonight, hence the paper towels. My friend is lending me her shampooing/vacuum machine. It may be the first step towards me cleaning up the place a bit.
  4. Oh yeah that was your question! Haha geez... that should have been obvious too. Sorry! Credit where credit's do. You definitely get the main assist.
  5. I ate a meal, and now I'm tired and useless. Am I not supposed to get energy from food? Isn't that the point? Why is it then that any time I eat something more substantial than a piece of toast I feel like I need to lie down and do nothing for two hours? If I go without food until 10pm I'm productive, but put a meal in there somewhere and it all comes crashing down.
  6. Ahh. I thought he had bigger hair for some reason. Also Ahegao Einstein destroyed me.
  7. Thanks! it was a good way to start the day. It only exists because Squee asked the question, you and tao presented a dissertation on what it might actually be called, and then Spiral asked to hear the chord. It's a collaborative piece really.
  8. This is the chord: I was going to just strum it once using my cheap lap top mic, but decided it wasn't lush enough (although I still did do that first part). You theory nerds can call it what you will. I call it A Major 69.
  9. Well whatever it is, I enjoy the feeling it evokes.
  10. There's definitely some C&C Music Factory influence in there.
  11. Couldn't be bothered to master this... it's never been heard before outside those involved in its creation many years ago. The ending is quite something. My ex and I used to bang off weird tracks like this in an evening, sometimes with guests. Watmms very own Goiter Sanchez contributes vocals, as well as my ex, as well as myself. I did the programming, but Goiter had a lot of the great musical ideas as I recall. The project is Moonzoomer. I just uploaded it on my Zephyr Nova soundcloud.
  12. Haha okay okay, obviously I was referring to broader regions as well. London more specifically. i know California is a state too... San Fransisco or LA perhaps. Yeah, I've had jazz guitarists try to learn my songs and get stumped on chord names. Almost all my songs have weird chords, frequently ones I haven't played before, and I've been doing this kind of thing since I was 10... so it gets pretty weird.
  13. the chord i refer to has the root, the octave, the maj3rd above that, the minor 6, and the 9th. So whatever that would be.
  14. lol 24-27 is still so young! But yeah, hats off to anyone who can get that out of their systems by 21. Def should have bought stock in MED.
  15. Hmmmm I'd probably dress a bit sharper and put more focus into honing my social skills. I would move to a bigger city that is more of a cultural hub for music and the arts in general (UK, California, New York, Berlin, or Montreal most likely). I would try to network with the right people to hopefully move forward with a music career. Possibly find a job at a high end recording studio, prob starting off as the bringer of coffee and working my way up the ladder. Who knows if I'd actually succeed at any of these things. I'm certainly a lot more socially savvy now though, and have a better idea of what needs to be done to reach my end goals.
  16. Went to my guitar to figure this out. My enjoyment of chords depends a lot upon what other chords they are surrounded by. But one chord that will instantly make my ears perk up is an A major (open A + the octave above it on the D string) with a minor six and an add9. Is that an augmented minor add9? This is the most mysterious, haunting, beautiful and tragic chord to my ear. I've only used it a handful of times... maybe twice. Gotta make it count. There is also a chord that contains an A flat minor7 sus2 but with both E strings ringing out, turning into some kind of majestic E major gone awry. That's a really lush chord. A far more common, but no less confounding chord is an F major with the B and high E string ringing out... so the high E becomes a Maj7 and the B is a tritone up the octave from the root, flat 5 I suppose you could call it? Augmented 4th? Fmaj7aug4 is perhaps the name for it. I don't know, I've always been drawn towards unusual chords that I don't hear a lot. I sound them out in my head, or stumble upon them while noodling. Later on if I ever need to explain it to another musician I figure it out like this. I'm always intuition first, figure the theory out later if need be. Leads to some interesting results.
  17. Sadly I am no longer drunk. But I will still answer a question here and there if the motivation strikes me. One time in maybe grade 4, the teacher asked some question, a girl responded, and I blurted out "that's stupid!" I don't recall what the question or answer was, but evidently I found her answer stupid. Anyway, I immediately felt bad afterward. Still think about it form time to time and wince. It's very obviously "the heat." I actually can't wrap my head around how people get "night" out of "the heat." There are clearly two syllables, neither of which resemble any of the sounds in "night" aside from the T at the end. This is basic listening comprehension.
  18. I looked this word up, and yes I do have a boot resembling one of these on the floor of the passenger side of my van. I have a matching boot that goes with it too. I used them recently on a hiking mission where my sole purpose (no pun intended) was to capture video footage of a waterfall in slow motion.
