  1. Zoolander 2 Don't waste your time...please for the love of god don't waste your time (felt like it was written at least 5 years ago, all the 'jokes' are # related and feel ancient) depressing/10
  2. Aaaaaaaah! Wow, surely this is a piece of cinematic genius! Post-modern mesh of different styles all jammed into a perfect mess of experimental fun! Felt quite inspired after watching it, nice to know people out there like Steve Oram can push through that barrier of uncertainty and just go out and make something like this. (Also as said earlier, amazing sound track) cheers for the rec
  3. Spirit of the Beehive Maybe i've been watching too much schlock lately, felt I didn't have the patience for this - maybe if i'd watched it a couple years back i'd have enjoyed it more but felt quite passive to it all...tis' very highly regarded however, so some of you may really dig it
  4. Kreator - Coma of Souls is a classic also check out Nervosa, they're a current all-female thrash band from brazil, fucking excellent umm, most of the thrash I listen to is kinda proggy though, Contradictions Collapse by Meshuggah sounds like what Metallica would have made after Justice if they'd continued with the prog style (except with better guitar solos, drumming, vocals, everything really). ooo great suggestion - big Meshuggah fan, but never listened to their old stuff - will defo check shall also give Kreator a go - more so looking for some 'classic' stuff, so will leave Nervosa till later
  5. can anyone recommend some good Thrash metal albums? bit of an odd connection - but was watching Power Rangers the other night, and it sparked a sudden urge to listen to some
  6. Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films Great content, but as a documentary i'm not a fan of these sweeping and constantly cutting between interviewees telling the same stories as if they're all reading from the same script sort of vibe...but really fun watch!
  7. i remember one night i stumbled upon that and the next video i checked was this, medium lols:
  8. Blowup Glad i finally watched this, nice food for thought, makes you think when most films dont - may check some more Antonioni fab60sfashion/10
  9. Laser Mision Just what i expected and more - hits a satisfying spot inside you that much else cannot. So bad it's good. Brandon Lee's high waist line/10 Aw yee - Wake in Fright is a gem! Anyone who hasn't seen it yet, get on it!
  10. Picnic at hanging rock Was expecting a lil' more than I got from this, but perhaps thats more my problem than the films - much respect to it, but just didn't hit me in the right spot maybe a rewatch sometime/10
  11. Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale Best xmas flick i've seen in a while - mucho fun and zips by. thumbs up
  12. some lads i know did a mock up of it earlier this year, funny times:
  13. +1 for Cross of Iron, what a film! That dreamy sequence where he's in the hospital and hallucinating about his comrades, dang, powerful stuff - the power of good editing! (probably Peck himself doing so)
  14. dang, really sweet work being posted lately - especially your work isumber! love the ornately minimal vibe built an analog video glitch box for processing video - just testing it out now, here's a bit from Legend on VHS:
  15. LOVE (3D) Welp, that sure had it's fair share of erect ejaculating penises and general penetration and fondling of all male/female orifices. Big fan of Noe, so probably giving it the benefit of the doubt - goes on pretty long and repeats itself a bunch - but sure, nothing beats sharing a bit of high quality 3D hardcore pornography with a group of strangers in a dark room. A few cool visuals, but I think the nature of 3D restricted Noe to a slower cutting speed and general pace - which isn't really a bad thing....
  16. Thanks for clearing it up, but no, alas I thought it might be able to do more than the 3
  17. Circle (2015) Pretty much an episode of the Twilight Zone stretched out to roughly 90mins - sort of like Cube, 50 random people awake in a room, start being killed off 1 by 1, have to figure out why and how....fun if you're into those sorts of things. Not the best overall, but pleasantly passes the time The Wolfpack Fascinating docu cool hair/10
  18. innnnteresting yea, as much as I would love to in an ideal world - i can't see myself playing though the full game anytime soon, so shall defo enjoy watching these throughout (on a side note - I guess when given 3mill of other peoples moneies - you gotta put it to work somehow - even if he had had a simple idea which would have only needed 30,000, he couldn't really not use the rest of the cash in some way)
  19. cheers for posting! Having been a huge point+click game fan growing up I was really excited for this when this all started.....but I think I only spent 20minutes playing it when it came out, then never had the urge to go back to it how did you find it? were most people happy with it or disappointed? Looking forward to watching this series now to get the inside scoop - but part of me wonders if the over-pay of support was detrimental to the final product? Isn't this what always happens, money doesn't necessarily = good final product. Usually it means an over cooked, over stuffed piece of meat.
  20. Chuckle Brothers and a glass full of cock, what more could one ask for
  21. loads of great vids from this channel, (especially the Philosophy ones)
  22. wasn't aware Agalloch released a new album back in 2014...shall be checking it out (anyone listened to it?)
  23. Time Masters Was really excited for this being such a fan of Fantastic Planet...but was fairly disappointing :( Seems like they had a shoe-string budget, really poor and inexpressive animation, some cool ideas floating around, but not enough overall - felt like it was trying to kill time and make up the 'feature length' minutes worth Some purty' cool old school synth sound track though!
