On the night in question I remember watching Aphex just before he played the track, he gave a good look at the crowd which he doesn't usually do... It was like he was saying in his mind - "you fuckers have never heard this one before, check this out".... Oh yeah, my American friend spotted Aphex later that morning with his wife/girlfriend and child in the lobby of the hotel he was staying at. Seems only the rich and famous stay at Malmaison...
