After dreaming about this for the 10 years since Fallout 2, I'm not sure if I can manage to stop playing Far Cry 2 right now.. The Collector's Edition will most probably show up in the mail later today though, I guess getting the package in my hands will put things in perspective. kokoon Posted October 29, 2008 Author Share Posted October 29, 2008 well. i have never played fallout 1 or fallout 2. this game looks interesting, but a bit annoying. graphic-wise it's definitely a disappointment, even oblivion isn't that glitchy. and the wilderness is visually tiring, i can't imagine to play in these surroundings for tens of hours! will try it some more though. But I don't mind, the atmosphere is amazing, it's true to it's precedessor and it's got that great Bethesda touch. I've got a feeling this will be my favorite game of the year. If you're not the type of person who'd enjoy a long hike alone, or get a thrill from exploring an abandoned building, you may end up scratching your head.
