This might be good, but I DON'T KNOW... I'm a huge Sam Raimi fan (well, Evil Dead fan), but he has strayed pretty far since those days. Kind of reminds me of "thinner"... Will wait for the cable/dvd release most likely, unless it comes highly recommended by my cousin.

looks kind of like it might be similar to the Gift, i actually enjoyed Spider-man 3 a lot and it reminded me of Raimi's older more cartoonish work (hudsucker proxy & crimwave) not so sure about Drag me to hell but definitely plan on seeing it.

Looks pretty cool from the trailer maybe if this does well he can finally get his thumb out of his ass and do ED4! Altho i did hear that the "reboot" for Evil Dead is still a go and might start next year :(

Stop bigging up Sam Rimmy and not mentioning Darkman

I remember liking this movie as a kid. Wasn't one of his "powers" that he couldn't feel physical pain?

I remember my parents hating me for making them take me to see Darkman....

Made up for it with Army of Darkness....

Spider Man 3 was scary!

It was so fucking bad I had nightmares about Spider Man not having a dick anymore, and Spider man needs his dick so that he doesn't become Spider Woman!

Drag Me To Hell will be pure genius though, according to what reviews I have read, this sounds like RAIMI in top form...

I need to watch Darkman again...

Its like 100% on rottentomatoes. That tells me people like it just because its not Spiderman and its a throwback to Sam's older movies which people seem to ejaculate over.

and what film would that be?

im asking you.

certainly not this one.

i guess im into more of a psychological "nightmares for weeks about the concept" horror person.

yeah, I think that film is The Exorcist....

but I am hoping DMTH isn't written poorly...

Raimi's style of demon face, like Argento's, is a bit cheesey but has some quality to it that scares me a bit....

there really hasn't been a film that has haunted me like the Exorcist...

plenty of horror films that I love....
