I was meant to be opening for Sabrepulse and Bogdan in the biggest tent with fucking hundreds of people there. I feel really bad for my mate in Belgium who has booked time off work to let me stay at his house for a few days after the Festival. This is beyond shit! I even left my best friends wedding early tonight because I should have been up in the early hours to catch my plane, its only when I was on my way home I saw the email from the airline telling me my flight has been cancelled. I am hoping there isnt another volcanic eruption or anything. Do anyone know if I can step outside the London airport in those six hours or do I need a special visa for that?? I honestly would if I thought it would get me anywhere, it would be a pointless waste of money.(which I don't have anyway) This is from Eurostar's website - " We are doing everything we can by adding extra trains to help passengers who are experiencing problems as a result of the disruption to air travel in Europe but inevitably our trains are extremely busy over the weekend. We would ask that you only come to our stations if you hold a confirmed reservation for travel. " Not only that, I would have to get to the Eurostar in the first place, which would be a 2 or 3 hour train journey from where I live. One thing is though, I'm off work until Wednesday. So I'm going to enjoy it and sort out some shit for trashbear! I understand that I am not the only one affected by this shit and I feel for everyone who is. I just hope that the organisers at 'Once' will manage to get replacements for all the acts that haven't turned up. They have been promoting this from the get go and have put in so much effort, and were hoping to make this a yearly event.
