Old men

So basically women are a write-off when they hit 40 and all their heavenly pert torpedo knockers droop and flatten like pink fried eggs nailed to a piece of MDF and left out in the rain, and their taut flower-scented vaginas slacken and droop and start to look like old corned beef. Not to mention the ability to provoke erections by simply fluttering the eyelashes deserting them and leaving behind eyes like sanded down marbles that barely convey the terrible depression of your former beauty having escaped your haggard arthritic clutches.

But gentlemen on the other hand have the ability to get a firm grasp of their dignified attractiveness and carry it through to old age, even sometimes improving with age like cheese or antique furniture. How is this achieved? I think it hinges on retaining a solid hairline which already puts many of us on shaky ground, but I think we should start thinking about where we would like to be visually when we are in our 60s.

Therefore, post pictures of old fellas who looks cool.

for example 60 year old film director John Landis

He looks super cool and his beard is terrific. Maybe beards are important too? but there must be cool old guys with no beard. Help me out here.

The man will be, by then, at the end of his journey of learning, and almost without warning he will come upon the last of his enemies: Old age! This enemy is the cruelest of all, the one he won't be able to defeat completely, but only fight away.

This is the time when a man has no more fears, no more impatient clarity of mind--a time when all his power is in check, but also the time when he has an unyielding desire to rest. If he gives in totally to his desire to lie down and forget, if he soothes himself in tiredness, he will have lost his last round, and his enemy will cut him down into a feeble old creature. His desire to retreat will overrule all his clarity, his power, and his knowledge.

But if the man sloughs off his tiredness, and lives his fate though, he can then be called a man of knowledge, if only for the brief moment when he succeeds in fighting off his last, invincible enemy. That moment of clarity, power, and knowledge is enough.

Seems more like an inner game to me. It's all about confidence and centeredness. A good hairline helps, but isn't a necessity. And it doesn't make you necessarily more handsome either. And don't forget, girls (yes, girls!) fall for guys who are like their father, e.g. old/mature.

nah, id say hairline isn't a matter. Sean Connery. Patrick Stewart. Bruce Willis..

Its probably cause wrinkles make a man look rugged and wrinkles make a woman look shriveled. Or maybe its to do with procreating

beard style and coloration can definitely empower a man's look.

Really now?

anjelica_2_show.jpg

naaaaw huston is long gone, she looks like a polythene sack of old meat just like all women of her age.

Diane Lane is 45 and I would still shank myself to see her bangers but even she won't last.

I would say Claudia Cardinale from One Upon A Time In The West was one of the most beautiful things I've ever been aware of, but look at her now

Fritz Perls

Jung

I think your poise as an old man is dependent on your self-understanding. Take these psychologists for example. Perls is just cool to death, and Jung had two wives under his roof.

I suppose it's part genes [you have no control over this], diet [don't eat shitty], and lifestyle [exercise and/or boozin'].

Both my parents look about 10 years younger than they are. That will probably be the best part of getting older. Christ, my dad is 61 and his last girlfriend was 30. Way to go pops :pedobear:
