If you were in germany, I dont know why you would buy sausages from an american company.

edit: my friend had an alias ~FriKanDel~ on a German message board about six years ago. He'd write fake-dutch posts and put in weird images of food. And every post ended with ":angry:". At some point we made a flash cartoon starring Frikandellen and built one out of papermaché that we later sent to the forum owner via airmail so it would attend the member's offline-meeting.

My German is a bit so so, so don't take my word on this. But I think, in German, "Berliner" means donut, and "Hamburger" means hamburger.

 

a Berliner isn't exactly a donut, there's no hole in it. they can be quite good though.

To make it even more confusing, people in Berlin call it Pfannkuchen (pancake)
