I remember a PS1 Fifa game having a scratch and sniff gamedisc, it was meant to smell like astroturf or the pitch or something. Can't remember what year, possibly 2000 or 2001. Also, the Palace Home video VHS/Beta of John Waters "Polyester" came with a scratch and sniff Smell-O-Vision" card if you were lucky. The very first run DVD release came with one too, the later ones didn't.

My friend always mentions Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail! coming with a scracth n sniff card when this topic is mentioned

Also related Smell-O-Vision

and Scent of Mystery

I think we're better off without it. That said something to counter the smell of popcorn at the movies would still be welcome

= pure, uncut nostalgia

I used to get those scratch n' sniff stickers from my elementary school teachers. Those exact ones. Thanks for the nostalgia trip!
