    What she's laying out there, along with other bits and hints from elsewhere, suggests that there are major Republican party members who are willingly or accidentally supporting this...I wanna know if so, where are our intelligence agencies? issues pertaining to citizens generally fall into fbi jurisdiction. the fbi that is being viciously attacked by the republicans. it appears the fbi is looking at congress people, in regard to the russia thing. i cant point to specific indicators off the top of my head but palmer report has some stuff on it.

    kind of shocking to me that they actually believe that. i tend to feel like, deep down, earnest repubs know that they don't really understand the issues they're talking about, and / or that they are supporting based on some wedge issue, disregarding proportionality to the whole, and that they are mimicking confident opinions they perceived as respected. we should acknowledge the possibility that trump has flipped

    the biggest thing people should take away from 2016 is that we cannot take election results for granted. it is a sports game and it is not over until it's over. trump has 90% support among republicans! they may well turn out to protect their boy from persecution.

    not only will Kavanaugh likely make abortion illegal and weight the supreme court more to the right, he wrote that presidents shouldn’t be “distracted” by criminal investigations. people think if the democrats can get a couple republicans on their side they can prevent his appointment. but gorsuch was appointed with 3 democratic votes, from senators in states that voted trump. there are 6 states with democratic senators that voted trump. this could be big. 5 people plead guilty. manafort's in solitary confinement. cohen apparently is trying to flip but mueller hasn't taken him up on it yet. there are a lot of principles that have not been put to the test in courts and may reach the supreme court, such as if a president can be subpoenaed for testimony, which is on the brink of being sent to the courts right now. too bad the republicans were allowed to brazenly steal an appointment from obama by the oblivious american public.

    there definitely are strains of mentality passed down from dark and ugly generations of the past. i see a mechanism in which children are raised by parents who are fearful of retribution from groups they may have wronged. the children don't get the full story but fully absorb the visceral defensiveness and tribalism. you see it in the demon eyes of racists and gun nuts. the majority of americans have not been behind things like iraq, vietnam, or even afghanistan, as it was executed. at least not after the misleadings of ill-advised politicians became clarified.

    i took tom arnold's tweet with a grain of salt, but watching him on lawrence o'donnell friday at 10 laid out very dramatically the major development of cohen flipping. and apparently felix sater, russian mobster, who tom arnold knows well, also is cooperating with mueller

    so it's looking like the immigrant kids thing is way worse. she gets past the historical analogy at 8:06. the government kept no record of whose kids they are. thousands of them. and gave the parents no information on how to get them back. and they've been sent all around the country. some 18 months old. some with no paperwork pertaining to them.
