    pretty much my initial impression, though i left it open that i would like it more in the future as it was certainly interesting. sure enough i'm finding more and more things i like about it, stick with it and see what you think imo. Where are the people calling you guys out for not liking it and saying you should fuck off from their thread for commenting that you don't like what they like, and for discussing the relevant music in "their" thread? Just curious. lol :p i guess cus we handled it in more of a delicate way? you're like a chronic troll baiter compared to us just sayin' wat

    The DDS ones are easier than other SMT games, but the story is really well written, and the music etc... I don't know, they're up there with my favorite games of all time. Anything with the SMT tag on it, I buy (for example Devil Summoner series, DDS, Nocturne, etc). I find it pretty funny that some of them have a disclaimer from Sony stating they don't represent the content lol. Like it's demonic or something? =/

    I didn't find negotiation to be very hard, at least compared to SMTIII. That game made it very hard to recruit demons. I second your excitement for Persona 5. Kind of disappointed that it didn't come out this year like they originally said. Yeah I'm disappointed too, but confident that's because the developing team is making sure it's an ace release! I'm finding negotiation REALLY hard compared to past SMT games. Sometimes you have to answer 10+ questions or whatever to get a demon. Perhaps I'm missing a strategy for negotiating or something? I kind of wish they'd make a follow up to the Digital Devil Saga games though... Glad to see there's another SMT fan here =)

    err... isn't capitalism and uh... providing economic incentives responsible for a vast and largely positive amount of innovation in technology and medicine? gotta dangle that carrot. corporate tax issues are issues of statute and law creation and administration, not capitalism.

    About 20 hrs into Shin Megami Tensei IV. Realllllly enjoying it, quite challenging at times. Happy to play an old school style JRPG, lots of grinding, fun negotiating with demons (way harder to negotiate in this one compared to previous games?!). Can't wait for Persona 5 next year, super stoked.

    No, it's different in this context; it's not the same as sloppy, slowed down raps imo. I thought the vocals were really well done, not mixed too high, treated as just another instrument etc. I guess it's akin to AFX and other IDM artists using rave/trance synths in different contexts, I love that shit edit: keep in mind though, I'm one of those weird IDM fans who likes vocals in music, so..

    So far I like everything I've heard of this album except sticky drama. Didn't you find the vocal samples to be the same cliche vocals we hear in almost every EDM and trap song? That's why I didn't like that song tbh. I've liked the other 3 tracks I've heard so far though.

    I found the material pretty dense, making an hour appropriate. Even listening to the live sets, by the end of the hour or so I need a break. Not that I was getting ear fatigue, more like brain fatigue.
